Might have to do that - I have a feeling the hooks will, well, hook, into the type of carpet in there fairly well.

I need to figure out how I'm going to get this stupid new enclosure from sliding around. L-brackets and bolts are out. Probably just go with one of those no slip rubber mats and see how it works for now. If that fails, duct tape.

I watched more semi-pro, college, etc hockey compared to NHL games this year. You have the guys who genuinely love to play the game. Then you have the guys who genuinely love the money and perks of being a super star athlete that made it. Guys used to go out and do whatever it took just to be able to tell an awesome story in the change room. Top cheese, bag skating, a little tape-to-tape sauce action, puck drills, being able to add the letter "Y" to the end of everyone's last name (with the exception of mine, heh), end to enders, OT wins, living on the road ... Used to be able to step on the ice and be absolutely free for the next couple hours. Not a care in the world, just you, your team, your coaches, and the puck. You know what you have to do, and you go balls out every second of the game to get it done. Now, why? It never used to be about the fucking money. It never used to be about the girls. It never used to be about the pride, the fame, the glory ... The boys played because they fucking loved it.

Agreed - not the same team. Fatigue, don't seem organized, and seem unprepared.

Same reason some people can go into shock just by walking into a hospital and realizing that they really don't want to be there

Unsure of the reactions he's had in the past to the same foods + similar ones. Not fun though. Hopefully all goes well with the nutritionist and there is a simple solution that still allows you to enjoy at least some of the foods.
