yep, pictures just cant do it justice. For and "entry" level amp it sure is nice looking. Let's hope it sounds as good as it looks. Of course i have no doubts that it will. I actually think hers could sound as good/better than mine simply because her car is a better listening environment. However, thats if i deaden the hell out of it because it squeaks and rattles like a female dog.

that would be an awsome "vintage" amp to pick up. pure sex in a heat sink. mid 90's modle, what my brother would have used in his first car.

for ~650 bones i dont think you can beat this system. I think it will turn out to be an awsome entry level SQ system that will still get loud and still hae some daily beating bump in the trunk.

One hell of an entry level system < $600 in equiptment/waires/everything for hte headunit and < 650 total (enclosure and kick pods). I think i did pretty well for Amanda no? Hifonics 4channel amp comes in tomarrow, well could have come in today but because it was being shipped to her house there was no one there to sign for it so i have to go pick it up tomarrow. these hollywood sound speaks seemed kinda wimpy to me but for $55 they look worthy. Of course weight has little to do with performance, but i like beefy speakers. I had to remind myself they are a set of componets that retail at $175 if you're luckey. not realy comfertable buying HU's used. If they are stolen they are never uninstalled correctly (plus i dont want to encourage stealing of car audio equiptement) and some times there is something wrong with them or they have cosmetic defects. good sugggestion though.

Ok, im looking for a head unit that is vibration resistant, clean output, good looking (matching my interior, ill post pics if i am asked), plays MP3's and WMA's preferably (so i can keep one CD in for 3-4Hr drives), and i would like an RCA in too but that isnt required. I only need 2 sets of RCA's. I would like pause as well (if i ever want to compeate bass race it would be nice) Im getting a $139 refund from Ikes Sound for the DEI1100D (its good because i paid $70 for the amp, send 29 to get it repaired. Im basically making $40) and soon ill have around $100 from my parents, maybe more if i score awsome on the ACT (lol). so my budget is around $240 and the above is what im looking at. Feel free to make suggestions as well. Im leaning towards the two alpines and the sony. But ill deffanitly take your guys's thoughts into account.

how/why so? if you are so scared put a fuse a few inches before the power input of the amp, same thing except you dont have reverse polarity protection. But anyone with 2 brain cells, some common scence, and can read doesnt need that.

Their tube amps where what tube amp lovers loved and used. Now USamps and a few others have taken over even more with the mids/highs power and other companies like Orion have taken over with great dollar per watt. It seems as though USamps and Tru have switches places. Used to you never heard about USamps, only reason i knew about them was beause they where bassed out of gainsville. Great quality for the price they gradually moved up. I havent heard a reccoemndation for Tru inmonths, even on DIYaudio.com.

Im narrowing my decision for Street A or B andAS1 for my senior project to either Incriminator 187's or LI's (depending on which is in my proce range) or treo's second highest level, the one rated at 400w RMS and is in the high 100's low 200's range. im not going to expect to be touching thoes CRX's but i will be expecting to be placeing in some 1x and 2x events. i would have placed 2nd in Street C at fernindina had i been there early enough to register. they had just begone qualifying as i rolled in anyway, it was fun. Fun to watch some Silverado do about a 50ft power brake right down the middle of hte highway with traffic backing up behind him.

Dont know where kicken' was but i went with my GF. PRetty good sized crowd. Pretty hihg numbers hit, Bass Race world champ for 140-149.9 was there with his van. Running a wall of MT's and MTX amps. Highest number i saw in qualifying was a 166.x in some blue van running memphis 15's or 18's. i didnt stay for the higher class competitions. I left after Street C. Treo's Demo truck was there, i was like a kid in a candy shop 4 15's, TV's glassed into the doors TV's in the fender wells, above the plate, sexyness. Two chittyest looking cars there was a pair of CRX's one running Street A and one Street B both louder than the winner of Street C one was running a pair of SoloX 12's and i never poped my head in the other one. there wernt alot of high 140's or high 150's. They either sucked it up in the low 130's or got low 140's or they where doing low 150's or into the 160's (Modified). kinda gay but w/e. I didnt compeat and i didnt flaunt my system too much, i got bored and started doing sub 30Hz burps...i drew some attention then.

My thesis is that Salvia long iwth other "soft" drugs should either be kept legal or made legal. However if want to further research it before i say it is worth of being (staying) legal. I already beleive Marijuana should be legal. It has obvious pain killing porperties and smoking through some sort of filtering device does abotu the same amount of damage as clove ciggaets or cigars. The killing of the brain cells is another issue, however, and also when used in heavy doses for long periods of time it makes aperson almost worthless to society, of course alot of the pople that are usless to society already are heavy Mary J smokers Other "soft" drugs such as shrooms which are (when done with common sence and moderation) psycoaltering should be made legal under tighter restrictions than Tobbaco, Alcohol, or Sativa (marijuana). The only arguement agianst shrroms besides the obvious overdose capeability is the fact that it takes you completely out of your mind. Not exactly safe. Then agian there isnt a whole lot of differnce as far as communication with the "real" world when compared to heavy alcohol intoxication. Different high, same danger weither it be upper or downer. On top of that OTC drugs can be taken to get the same type of trip such as Cold Cough and Congestion, Dymatap, Sudafed, etc... They contain one of the main ingredeants that makes you get high off of Crystal Meth. Though Meth is a "hard" drug and is quite dangrous to make. Overall i think that people should be allowed to get high if they want to get high as long as htey hurt no one besides their self in the process. That the one point of view that i have that is very liberal.

i love adreneline. i love it like you wouldnt know. However, Adreneline isnt pscyo altering past a certian point and also cant relax you. If Weed wasnt so high in Tar and didnt have withdraw symptoms i would smoke it on ocassion. However Sports and achedemic load keep me straight. Slavia, however, is like a rush of mind activity then back to normal. In low doses it is a Sativa like high. in higher doses it becomes more of an Acid type high except for its a muscular depressant making it up to 3 times harder to move. To be honest i am up for some first hand experence, especailly if i do the paper. However i want to hear some experence from people i trust more than random sites on the internet.

Everywhere ive read it takes high doses toreach LSD or Shroom like visual perceptions, however you also cannot overdose on Salvia. Some say that high doses make you take tripe into the universe and life itsself and you come out with a greater understanding. Im not going to lie, ive done shrooms but wouldnt tought LSD with a 10ft pole as there are no recorded flashbacks with shrooms and there are plenty with LSD. I no longer do them. I have a paper i have to write soon and i have to choose the topic. Im either going to do stereo or mind altering drugs. Salvia is perfectly legal (even if you are under 18) if bought as "incense" but cab bring trips like acid. What are your thoughts on the movement to make it illegal. It has little or no tar in the smoke and has no residue. There are no withdraw symptoms (sapposeably) and no recorded flash backs. It was used by ancient cultures for Medicinal and pyso altering purposes. It can be injested or smoked in a pipe, hooka, or bong (joints donot concentrate the smoke well enough or burn hot enough). 1oz can be bought on Ebay for like $17 shipped. it only takes about a gram (they say) to bring on a good trip. ready, set, discuss.
