  1. It's so hot, my typing is sucking agian.
  2. Gonna have 4" of storeage under one side of the enclosure (for foldrs and school books) and the otherside will have my amps under the enclosure. I might put a CPU fan down there blowing on the just to keep the air circulating. I have a feeling 147dB wont be too hard.
  3. a gallon of Bondo would be nice too, Or I might just 45* the corners instead.
  4. I also need to grab a gallon of resin and some sort of nuts to mount the driver.
  5. Are you going for SQ, SQL, or SPL? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> SPL, but it doesnt matter because I aleady made the cuts. Up firing ports worked well on my first enclosure with the 18, but all tof the bends cause a little noise/loss in SPL. I freaking love having a table saw and since my dad wasnt home I used his GMC with the laser on it. I love that thing now. My cuts are straighter than evr because you make small sweeping corrections (small as in less than 1mm). What would have took me an hour to cut, I cut in 30min with the table saw and that GMC laster saw. Anyway, back to the enclosure. Double baffle, double back, single top and bottom (they are only 12" wide as opposed to 20) and single on the sides (12x18.5). Saving to get a bunch of 1/2" all thread. Im going to start the negative port mold tomarrow so i should have a positive by next week.
  6. Starting the enclosure today. Im going with a single up firing 8" port. 5cuft @ 32Hz for daily. Time to go start cutting.
  7. Best quick lunch EVER!... Grilled chese with near a quarter stick of real butter for lubrication, two slices of wisconsin sharp chedder, and some moutian dew.
  8. and I can start building today.
  9. jntar, you said to do upfiring for my mini right? I hope so because that will lessen my headache.
  10. Everything he said we are doing I either already know from algebra, physics, or learned on my own.
  11. http://www.kencampbell.net/math/ fixed and there it is. Go => High school => precalc or w/e We didnt do much at all today. A dabble in y intercept, distance, and porportions.
  12. Suttle differences. If any at all. I havent heard either so i cant really tell you, just looking at the drivers/specifications. As I said before, the only real "advantage" to the TC-2000 is it's basket. It allows for spacers between spiders and a larger, 10" spiders for more travle keeping the cone under controll. Since you are sealing it's a matter of save $50 and get a sexy assed cone. Or spend the extra $50 and get a sexy assed basket (IMO) and and a very suttle ammount of extra performance. Also remember the TC-2000 is offered in dual 3 and single 3 ohm coils. So unless you get a JL slash series or something, you will get slightly more power to the Rl-P on the same amp. Flip of a coin. Heads Rl-P, Tails TC-2000 and what ever lands, take it. Inverted drivers are sexy though. If it where me I would get the TC-2000
  13. What do you all think about an upfiring port? I think that is where im headed.
  14. My Notes That link is for M5 to analyze my precalculus notes. Everything we do in class is loaded to that site and translated into *.pdf format. pretty nifty. Going over everything that he said we will be learing...I already know most of it all . Pre-Calc = Breeze for me probably.
  15. It's 100% up to your personal preferance. The TC-2000 has a basket which accomedates a better suspension for more throw. It's basket is also sexier. If you are going sealed or are planning on inverting it I would go with the TC-2000. The Rl-P seems to work well in smaller (considering its competitions) ported enclosures quite well. In ported enclosures linear travle is not of as much importance. The cone is also quite sexy. If you plan on porting and are limited on space or are mounting it cone out I would go with the Rl-p. I'll bet you wont be dissatisfied with either choice.
  16. I had a good run tonight. After 4 miles at a reletively fast pace I felt like I could have gone much faster/a few miles longer. The girl was ready to go though so I ended it with 4miles and a mile cool down.
  17. TCAB?
  18. TC douesnt have bad custoemr support either. Shoot for whichever fits your budget and likings (cosmetics) best.
