MECA? No thanks. Local 1x events rarely break 150dB in street C...and that is the only place im looking to do decent in. I wouldnt mind a few first places in a few 1x events...im not expecting to place in 2x + I may throw some daily tuning in there and kick ass in the 130-139.9dB Bass Race class

gas is crazy here in FL...some places you will see it for 2.96 and others its 3.10...im like WTF? I'm glad we dont have as many taxes as cali though...we still have something like 49.5 cents per gallon tax though. Old tax plan FTL. Fair Tax Plan FTW!

I sold a TC9 to David Moore (TeamPSI) for $100. It gave me the chance to try and blow and then tare apart an eDuh product.

That might have been it. We have a freezer in there on the same breaker, if it was in a cooling cycle it was drawing 5a easily. Didnt think to unplug it. Oh well. . That is still some abuse.

I think I've got it handled. What i get will be a big surprise. Lets put it this way, i ran into some extra cash so I went ahead and bit the bullet.

I stayed up playing GT4 with my buddy and eating pizza and drinking rum & coke last night. Never got truck...but it was a little harder to play the game.

4 good batts should handle it 'ok' i would think (dont take my word for it). 6 would be better. That is the exact amp my GF's uncle runs on his 10 CompVR's. He said he turns the voltage up to 17 for competition and runs around 10kw to them. He has a 300a externally regulated alt (i beleive) and a bunch of batteries in the bed. Never went back there so I didnt get a look at what kind or take the time to count them.

Never got it to blow. It smoked a little but it never blew. I ran it at 4ohm and it would go for about 3seconds then pop the 15a breaker...i kept resetting it ant it never would blow. I didnt have acess to a 30a breaker. I wired it to 1ohm and it popped the breaker almost instantly. The coil still looked like this. This driver doenst look like it had a very tight gap but damn does it have some strong magnets. That is all.
