I'm probably gonna save the ribbons for bookshelf speakers, maybe use em with my extremis. I'm contemplating picking up the new car audio version of the dayton RS mids, gotta love the price.

I'm using WinMLS to tune my system just as a basis to work off of. I'm horrible at tuning by ear. The program also allows me to get time data, so it'll be helpful in setting my TA which I also suck at doing by ear. Too bad it doesn't teach me how to not suck at life.

I tried to tune this weekend using WinMLS, but I have no clue how to calibrate my soundcard. Trying to get more info on DIYMA, but no one is helping. This really sucks cuz this was the first free weekend I've had in a while to work on it, and none of those experienced people are helping. Hopefully I come across more free time to try it again. When it's tuned then I can go ahead and clean up the wires and take the saran wrap off. I did get rid of the ribbons for now and am running vifa tweets on the dash. Ribbons sounded better IMO, but the stage height wasn't as high and people kept kicking them. My thread will be updated after I actually get stuff done. Thanks for remembering though I used the aura's you sent me and made computer speakers for my brother

I definitely see time flying by a lot faster than before. The past 2 years have been just a blur, I feel like I graduated from high school yesterday. I'm sure after I get a full time job years are going to go by like nothing. Damn, do I miss my childhood, playing handball all day and not having a care in the world.
