ahh sweet. totally forgot about this thread. thanx for the suggestion. i just bypass the whole problem by turning the speakers off, changing the volume, and then turning em back on. sometimes when i just leave the speakers on but have nothing playing, theyll start making staticky noises like some aliens are trying to contact me.

does anyone listen to Il Divo? it's some pop classical group simon cowell (american idol) put together from supposedly "the best" international singers. i like their stuff, gives the system a good workout too.
