Attempting my first enclosure build, What do I Need
you can make it as difficult as you want it. Just take your time and do it right the first time pre drilling is your friend so use it. The easiest way to cut out the diameter for the subwoofer is to use a jigsaw/router. To make a perfect circle take the radius of the cut ID. then get a scrap piece of wood and drill a hole through it, then measure the radius over and drill another hole.

Where to contact DC Power?
don't be fooled by there website. They make alot more alternators than just the ones posted on the dcpowerinc.com. There is a phone number on the top header of the website. Thats the fastest and easiest way to contact them

At a loss here...
I no exactly what you are going through, numerous testing to find out the problem. Taking the sub in and out, checking fuses, connections....it starts to really get frustrating. Just hang in there and it will be all worth it in the end.

At a loss here...
the only reason i was thinking this was the problem was because something along these lines happened to my 3000D. It would cut in and out (didnt matter what volume i had it at). I checked grounds, connections, sub, and then i tried a different amp and it worked fine. I contacted DB-r and told him and he new what the problem was right over the phone. the little boxes covering the mosfits would wiggle...that's what would cause the issue

new sundown 3500 not putting out??
Very good points! I personally don't use the remote. Better to set the gain on the amp and leave alone. OR the remote could pop out of the cord and just a thought....
-
At a loss here...
do you currently have another amp you could swap out with? this will determine whether or not its the amp. If the other amp works fine then i bet its the mosfits located by the RCA inputs

Electrical Equipment????
yes. good match for the btl as for electrical i would start off doing the big 3/ volt meter and then go from there. You will most likely have voltage drop so take a look at the electrical/battery page on SSA
