    Why don't you just set a price range for yourself and work around that. Looking at what others have said, it would make sense that you don't want to spend that much money; so cut your system in half if you are a beginner anyways. My buddy has 2 18'' BL series in a wall in his silverado ext. cab. That hits louder than your average Best Buy system could ever dream of doing. I think you would be better off with 2 for starters and spending the rest of your money on high quality highs and mids. Kinetik batteries are pretty cheap on ebay or www.woofersetc.com. Or check out stinger.
