  1. What is the DBO boast how much power do you think the JBL puts out I am asking because I no they are strong amps and those subs are rated at 1750 rms that is 7000 rms thats alot for a 3000 watt amp but I see the JBL 6000 puts out 8400 watts at 4ohm's I just wondered what the 3000 would do?
  2. how much power do you think each one of those subs are going to see? Do you think that 3000 is going to give them enough power or are you going to add anther one to really blow that van to pieces the way i see it right now that is 750 to 1000 rms a sub if you put 2 that would be murder in a good way
  3. just make sure you get a sub that is a 4 ohm load at the end like a d2 woofer to be series up to 4 ohms for a single woofer, if you are going to run 2 subs you can run 2 d1's or 2 d4'sa single 15 or 12 would be good but et the D2 series
  4. The box looks good the only thing you forgot was the terminals you said 2 terminals so i could switch the ohm load of the sub but that's ok
  5. is the enclosure finished and do you have the pictured of it and the final cubic feet
  6. What determines if an amp is an 'ess que' amp or not... ? And what does is have to do with what woofer it will amplify ? that amp is a 2 channel class a/b amp they are mostly run on mids and tweets and when ran mono they tend to get hot but they have a lower THD than class D amps which are made to run subs and doing so they don't pick up those high frequencies like class a/b amps so they tend to run cooler because they play the lower frequencies only and don't have to play the while range all the time saving current to the lower tunes call for it that's why you see more people running class D amps for subs and with that mp 4ohmsis what it plays in mono if you go lower than the 4 ohms you cause that amp to overheat go into protect and most likely blow a good amp playing to low of ohms if you want to play under 4hms you should gt you a class D amp dual 2ohm subs can be series up to 4ohms and you will be safe
  7. From what i know about that amp it is a 2 channel amp and 4ohms is what you going to get mono so you are going to need a dual 2 sub and series it up to 4 ohms but that amp is a strong old school amp and it would be more of a SQ amp so i would go with the Q
  8. that enclosure looks nice can't wait to get mine hope it sounds as good as it looks go luck on the install
  9. have you started on this yet
