  1. I have an '02 ford explorer so I'm gonna have to get rid of my third row seats (oh well) but the sub is gonna be facing up and ported back cause that usually works great in SUV's
  2. Thanks all that rly helps...I'm pretty sure I know someone who has a DMM who is an electrician but what wires do u test it on if thats how u test it?
  3. where could I get a DDM? Do you think I need the flatwind, p chamfer, or cooling?...cooling is the only free one
  4. Oh and also, how would I know the input voltage and how would I knew if I was turning the gain higher than it needs to be equal to the input voltage?
  5. I usually keep the gain at less than 50 % and I don't go too crazy with the volume on my hu. That much gain hopefully won't hurt it
  6. Ya I like the red too. You could put the amp on the back of one of ur backseats u know if that doesn't interfere with the wall. I'm getting a 15" bl and i'm so pumped. sorry I couldn't help anymore cause I've never had to hook up a system in a trunk type car
  7. Thanks guys. what would make it so that the amp would be clipping, running it at its max? I have an suv and im gettign a custom ported box made by my friend. This amp can run pretty high for long periods of time and not even heat up so im not really concerned with that
  8. oh never mind ur firing it into the cab. What options u getting on the Q? and what color logo on the dustcap?
  9. so ur gonna have a sealed box w the sub facing the cab or the back of the car?
  10. Hey I made a post and havent gotten any help either...so i'll help you out if i can. In the video u posted the sub is just slapping up against the seats which isn't going to produce a great sound. Are you going for SPL or SQ? Take a look at this option I know that it is louder firing into the front of the car like in the video. What's the "big 3"? Also, are you willing to give up ur backseats for ur system? And I have an SUV so I don't really know if the fiberglass in the trunk would make more rattle or less but the neon sounds sick Hope this helped. Here's what I'd do: If the sub is not smackin against ur backseats then go for it firing it into the cab but i would keep the middle seat down so you can really hear it or Face the sub up or facing back in a ported box with the port facing back on one side of the box but still keep that middle seat down and attach ur amp up to the back of the box where the seat is down like this but only w one amp:
  11. I am set on buying the bl 15 and my amp is a profile ap2000 but it is only 960 rms so would the bl still bump really hard and not distort? i don't think I'm gonna get any of the options because that would just add to the sub's rms which i don't need
