ok so say i hook another up and they are wired one ohm i would be getting 600 each from a 1200 watt amp correct?

i told u it was a big newbie question and i figured u couldnt but it has a spot for what looks like another sub can be hooked up.

i have a m1d1 usamps amp. it says its a mono amp so does that mean i can only run one sub off of it cause the way it looks it has a pace for two. and if i can run two will they be getting the same power if wired up the same. say if i wire it to one ohm will they both be getting 1200 watts?

he didnt he estimated what it probably could be doing he told me he wasnt for sure but it was more realistic for it to do that instead. hey jaycee what is that bench test and clamp thing? id like to do it.

so i have a us amps md1d amp hooked to a ten inch re audio sx. i had it wired to one ohm and a guy that i was talking to said i was probably pushing closer to 1400 watts instead of 1200 watts at 14 volts. is this true?

i know i wanna hear this too. i pretty much knew caps were pointless but i wanted to be for sure. thanks for reassuring. so the guy who is gonna help me build my system said i should do a cap should i just tell him i rather do another battery? its either gonna be 4 12s 2 15s or 1 18 probably around 2400 to 3000 watts just all depends on what i get really.

so do caps actually work or what?

i was thinking about using some from stylin concepts the door leds dont know if u have seen them they were three under the door. when im back on the site ill post it.

ok heres the thing im putting in a center console with a tape player in my s-10. i removed the tape player so i can put my bass knob and a toggle switch where it should be. im gonna have plexiglass fill the hole and i wanna put a green led behind it and wire it to the hvac or anywhere in there so it comes on when the lights are on can anyone help me with this on any part. how to put the led back there so it lights the plexiglass and wire it so it comes on with the lights. its a 2002 s-10 xtreme,

checked it all and hasnt cut off in two days so i think i got it fixed thank god thanks for yalls help

i looked didnt see anything it didnt cut off at all today maybe something was knocked loose. just making sure is the remote wire ur talking about the small one that goes to the amp?

ok so i found out its behind the radio it messed up while putting the radio back in but i cant find what it is any ideas

the terminal connections on the sub can cause the amp to shut down please explain this

im gonna double check again tomorrow but like i said does it mostly when moving and comes on and off. and the amp turns all the way off no lights or anything but sometimes i can turn the volume down and it comes back on.

ok so the system still cuts off when it did it i looked back at the amp and it was cut off can anyone help me with this what to look for maybe i over looked something

hmmm ill check into that it might just be the wiring it needs to be replaced i think im doing that next week sometime its to small for the amount of power going to it.

everything looked ok outside that i could tell tomorrow ill check the wire to the sub and head unit its freaking cold here. thanks guys

so lately all of sudden my system will be playing and the bass randomly quits and i dont even have the system up loud or bass up alot. sometimes when it happens i can turn the sound down and it will cut back on. the whole amp cuts off looks like. its in a 2002 s-10 stock alt bat have an us amps md1d and ten inch re sx any help with this? im in the process checking all connections right now
