On bandpass enclosures, specifically 4th order for the moment, but I will be messing with 6th order later. I am always re-reading the diysubwoofers page. If anyone can reccomend books, sites, etc.... it would be great. Also an general rules of thumb too.

VFL 150.1s are great amps. Make lots of power. Our team at one point had around 20ish, maybe more. On 18v, they couldnt go below .7, and some cases .35 or they would fry. They are also very sensitive to the rca voltage as well at that high voltage. On 12v, they could go to .25, but had to be rolled.

Yes that should be fine. You may need a relay for the remote turn on though. Try it out first. Good amp choice.

It should run daily at 1 ohm, just watch it. They also dont need modding to be run at .5 or for high voltage. Yes you have to hook up all of those powers, grounds, and remotes.

Yea. Its very weird. My guess is that it has to do with box impedence? Its weird because for everybox that I have built excpet for one, so like 5, my burping freq has always been at 46, which was the loudest, no matter what tuning the port was at.

I am burping my loudest freq below the tuning of the port. My only question is, how much lower should I tune the port to? I burp the loudest at 47, port is tuned to 52 Would tuning it at 45 be okay?

Or know anywhere to buy the autotek or goliath? But this will mainly be for SLAP, where I will have 4 kinetik hc2400s for battery support. Until next year, when I do street max.

Whats the price on those things? Also I cant spend an insane amount on an amp. Looking for probably under 1g per amp, via ebay, forums, whatever. Going to go with 2 for now, and then 2 more of whatever I get later.
