WoW that would work I bet too!!!! Not enough time left for shipping before this weekend but worth looking into for sure. Thanks for the link!
  12. I got everyone covered from 300 amp down..... Believe me I'll have a box of repair goodies!!!
  13. I'll have a sun canopy tent, a cooler, much needed tools, spare parts, and......feels like I'm going on vacation! LOL
  14. I was thinking of hitting the McDonalds by my house on the way..... It's almost an hour for me just to get there.
  15. I'm down for whatever....I like food!
  16. Heat the end of the PVC with a torch. (careful not to burn it, just heat it) use a bowling ball (for large ports) or funnel (for smaller diameters), push the heated pvc on the item to start the flare. Finish it off by re heating the edges and forming the rest with a crescent wrench. (as a small hand brake) test for uniform molding by setting the flare on a flat surface. Remember to take you're time!! Don't try to form it all perfect the first time you go at it. If you go too fast the pvc will split or warp to an un-usable piece. ~or~ by aero ports.....

Could you mount a small mirror inside and bounce the remote signal off it to the h/u? hmmmmm....It's worth a shot... I was delaying putting the Lexan window in the hood of the enclosure until after the show. Last resort would be for me to yank the hood out and cut the window in, install and seal the Lexan, re install the hood, all before Saturday morning.... It's doable, just kinda a hassle. Everything fits snug as a bug in a rug. I'll try the mirror first. Maybe put some velcro on the back to hold it still?

Yeah that'll work for the BassRace I think but not the DB Drag....(or the other way around....)
  19. Jay-C76 replied to Jay-C76's topic in Team SSA
Either or..... I'll have both on hand, 16 gig flash drive (mp3), and a box of original recorded cd's. Oh, an I-pod too.
  20. How is everyone running their H/U? From inside, outside via remote, or long harness H/U outside?
  21. Talk about OCD cleaning! LOL I'm the same way. But it's hot a HUMID so it's hard to keep motivated.... I may still be cleaning after I get to the show!
  22. Anyone bringing a laptop? I have 16 gigs on a flash drive, maybe we can share and trade?
  23. Jay-C76 replied to Jay-C76's topic in Team SSA
You know I will! LOL If it happens and isn't caught on video then I'll be pissed! With all the cameras that are going to be at the show, there should be several different angles!
  24. Jay-C76 replied to Jay-C76's topic in Team SSA
LMAO... Yeah I guess that would be a bright side to it..... The drive home might suck, I may need to buy some goggles! LOL I pressure tested it today, It split another 12 inches and won't split anymore. Unless, I really push with my thumb..... I hope it at least holds to get on the meter. After the show I get a free warranty replacement, so whatever happens happens! My remote for the H/U won't work on a severe angle. (like out the windows) I contemplated wiring up a long harness for the H/U to run outside the truck but that'll take some doing...... Any thoughts on how I could work my way around this issue?
