I know there is a UK dealer for some times. But it was the only one. Blade Ice IIRC. I always buy direct from Fi in the USA. I don't think I will buy from this "local" dealer. He can't be cheaper than Fi themselves ! I think this guy just bought a few Fi subs, and sell them in his shop.

How can ther be a Fi dealer in Guadeloupe? They sell Team Fi subs, SP4's,...It's a French Caribbean island, near mine. We have a few people buyin Fi subs now. The installs are coming. I don't know the pricing yet, though.

Here in Martinique we have lots of Sahara sand in the air (like a perpetual fog) and tons on tons of Sargasses seaweed (it stinks like sulfur, like rotten eggs) on most beaches. Back to your thread : I would not do the DC subs ! You have BTLs : those are fantastic subs ! And you know that ! Try the Team Fi/AA/SSA ! I am afraid to see those subs in sealed sections for 4th order bandpass boxes : I think they don't really like that. But I'm not a specialist at all I can't tell you nothing on the box to use, sorry ! I have some local friends who are a lot into demo cars : they use some kind of boxes that look like pro audio ones. They don't play low notes, but they're loud as f... I don't like that, but they do !

If the original recone exists, why go elsewhere ? I would't use a non Fi recone for a Fi sub. You only have to order, no mesurements needed ! They took 3 weeks to build my N2 recone. That is fair.

They're on back order again ! And my friend, the hdc3's owner, is finally ready to order ! We've been waiting for weeks. I did not know it would be so difficult to have recones from the "manufacturer" (even if it's built overseas !). I keep checking Soundqubed website. I sent them an email, no answer yet...

I would keep one sub and get a serious box for it. You would have one sub to make some money for the box or for a better sub later.

I don't like the 2 ports design, if it's what I saw ! Just my personnal taste on the look. I can't comment on anything else. My Zcon 15 is in 4 cu ft but I don't remember the port area. But I love it !

I loved my BTL n2 ! But you have enough(good) subs to please you ! Work on the frontstage if you want to fully enjoy your music. It's the most important part for your ears A new ported box should not be so hard to fit in your car, unless you want to keep trunk space.
