Nope, spent a couple nights in the hospital. But his wife divorced him shortly after. I saw her a couple months later in the same grocery store. She thanked me. Made me smile

He threw the first punch, then I proceeded to throw the last punch(es). His wife and cops pulled me off of him. I was arrested for assault. Spent several weekends in jail, and had to do a couple hundred hours of community service.

He said shut the fudge up, and mind my own business. Then smacked his wife again. I caught his arm on the second swing. And told him if he felt the need to hit someone. He could hit me.

I over heard a lot of what he was saying, and it involved her talking to me. So I walked over and calmly told the guy that there was no need for all that. And I was sorry to cause any problems.

I continued around the produce section, when her husband came running over and started yelling and cussing at her. Calling her all kinds of names. Then he started smacking her.

So being the nice person I am. I held the bag out while she put the produce in it.

She just asked me If I could hand her a plastic bag to put her produce in.

Saw a man smack his wife upside the head several times, for talking to me.

I can't stand idley by and watch it happen.

True story, My mother had a friend who was constantly beat by her husband. This went on for years. One night the lady snapped. She took and electric stapler and stapled the bed sheets down so tight that her husband couldn't move. Then she proceeded to beat him to death with a frying pan, and a broom. She got sent to prison for 5 years for it. I don't think she should have served a minute myself
