Yes sir, it tis pretty easy with mine as well. Two bolts, and undo the shift linkage. Then pull the lower unit off. Mine is major pita putting it back together though.

Yeah for some. The motor I have currently is to small and old though. It's a 1956 evinrude fast twin 15hp. It will push my little john boat about 19-20mph with two people and gear.

I have found a couple on line for less than three. So these people here can keep em' . If and when I do decide to go that route. Don't believe I will purchase localy

We catch a lot of the lb'ers here too. Average is usually a little over a lb. Biggest I caught so far, was two years ago. I caught a 6.1 lb on a 4" zoom lizard. Haven't caught anything of size since.

No2 was rather interesting too. Kind of scary at first. Use to the throttle topping out. Now it just keeps accellerating until you have to let off for a corner

Have you seen the 3d-di ? Those are pretty sweet. Can be customized for stand up, sit down, or kneel. Rather pricy right now though.
