Welcome to the IHoP
The plastic containers they put it in are great. Once that super hard structuraly rigid piece of resin hardens in the bottom. I take a jack hammer and some C4 and remove it .

Welcome to the IHoP
I usually apply resin , then lay the mat over top of the resin did it just like that and then tried to apply pressure with my hand didn't try to press it with the brush though. i wonder if it sticks to the brush... remembered i need to strengthen the center console and i thought about adding a layer of fg on the inside. how could i make it stick to plastic ? If it sticks to the brush your in trouble, cause that means your resin is starting to cure. Better hurry up Use epoxy resin instead of polyester is about the only way really. You can drill holes, or scuff the plastic really roughly to give the resin something to hold on to . But it will eventually come loose using polyester resin. tried the brush shotrly after your reply and it didn't stick. also turns out it didn't cure. i guess i put too little mekp Well you can do a couple things , leave it setting in the sun all day, or hit it with a hair dryer or heat gun. IF your working on a project that you intend to keep and this happens. Mix up a really hot batch of resin ( 2-3 times the reccomended mekp ) and brush a coat on over top. Be quick though , cause it's gonna cure quick and really , really hot

Welcome to the IHoP
Yeah , buy chip brushes. You can clean non cured resin from brushes with acetone. BUT by the time your done. You wasted as much money and time to more than make up for the price of a box of chip brushes. I gave up cleaning them years ago , I don't even buy graduated containers anymore. I use coffee cans , and chinese food containers

Welcome to the IHoP
Keep one hand resin free at all times. If your laying mat on a mold. I usually apply resin , then lay the mat over top of the resin , then dab it with the brush to remove the air bubbles .
