what about a 2004,2005 acura tsx? Acura makes nice looking cars. Pretty reliable too.

Bose System..upgrade or no?
My Maxima has Bose. My previous car had only had 1 set of comps and a cheap deck and sounded better than the bose. But I'm keeping it since it's a lease so I just added a sub.

New toy coming...ICON 12" in a Genesis V8/Tech...
A lot of newer cars have a feature where the stock amps limit power or limit lower frequencies to the stock speakers past a certain volume so you won't blow the speakers and reduce distortion. That could be why it doesn't sound as loud as you think it should be. Any wheel/tires plans? Some black face, white lip rims would look real nice

This is why I would only prefer a Headunit with a sub level control. A lot simpler.

two 15" re audio srx?
I ordered from www.audiosavings.com but they don't have the old Re's

two 15" re audio srx?
I had a CVR and a SR. The CVR will probably be louder on average but the SRX will probably be louder below 35hz. Of course the RE will sound better though. These are very different subs.

2v preamp outputs?
Not picking on you today ///5M, but my Clarion 9375 w/9300 did 4.2 volts at 30/33 volume. The Clarion DRZ9255 (states 4v) tested 9volts!! Yea that deck is in a different league.... And yes that was w/a 60 Hz tone. That was with an oscilloscope right?

No budget huh? Sub- RE XXX Amp- Arc Audio SE 4000- 09 Dodge Challenger Build
Where did you get the leather? I can't stand my cloth- How about that SSD?
yes really. it's called head room. , you think all people will use it as headroom?(i like headroom too. ) Instead of cranking it up to the max, with sometimes not properly set gains. Not really smart to post that kind of stuff on a forum, where a lot of beginner's read up to gain knowledge and then they read that and think they need a bigger amp.(and burn woofers, and then ask what happened.) OP doesn't have to take my advice. It's just my 2 cents. If I had a choice of running a SSD with a 500 watt amp or 1000 watt amp I would choose the 1000 watt amp and set the gain lower to reduce strain on the amp.- How about that SSD?

I went from a RE SR to a FI SSD (both ported) and the SQ on the FI is just as good as RE. The FI seems to hit lower which how is how I like it. I have 1000 watts going to mine. I think you'd be happier with a bigger amp since you like your music at high volumes. And on top of that a sealed box won't be as loud as ported. Better to have too much power than too little power.- Port diamerter questions
