HaHa, I am going to put the rack on it with some lights and YES it will be black. Just got to measure and see how long I want it. Cant decide if I want it on the rear or from the rear doors to the rear. Something like this with a real spare that will work on my truck on top. about bats up there tho. BUT......Never say never. Going to be making some updates to this in the next couple of weeks. I have plenty to keep me busy for the next little while. Nothing much to see just yet, took out the batteries and added a couple more of these little guys. Going to be able to push my box off the rear a GOOD BIT now. I think I am going to put the bats on the sides of the box 2 on each side for now. I have the room so I am going to try them here first. 2 under the hood and 4 in the rear. Hopefully with 4 alts and ^, I will be set. If not, I will have room to add more bats on each side. ^ Notice the big holes in my box. Hopefully they will be filled here soon. Running around with just PA drivers and no bass is not much fun, but it is giving me plenty of time to tweak on it. Hope to have some more updates over the next couple days as things come in.

There is no reason with good maintenance you should not be able to get 250-300,000 now days. When I was at a previous job I had company cars- 3 GMC trucks with the 5.3l. We only traded them when they got to 250,000 and none of them ever had anything major happen. Worst was a leaky water pump on one.

Pricing is simple. If I thought someone would pay $500, why would I charge them $250? I would have to sell twice as many to make the same profit. Marketing.

A watt is a watt and both will sound the same apples to apples -same distortion levels, settings, etc. As for pricing, any product is worth what a buyer is willing to pay for it. Lots of different opinions on this subject tho.
