  1. lol, but dampening quiets down the bass (on the outside) or does it just reduce the rattling, or both
  2. Small trunk acura integra coupe, (wish hatch, but anyways) for 1 15" Nightshade Total trunk= around 11 cubic feet Height= 14 inches Width= 25 Opening= 15 inches Wheel Well Area to back of trunk= 10 inches Depth= 20 inches
  3. I mean is there a way to tune the box to do this? lol i guess with windows down i kinda have to have it down, but does the box play a role in this? (By the way, its a trunk system)
  4. This thread is not meant for bashing but what is recommended for the price/quality? A friend of mine had a bad experience with the Knukonceptz KLMX Kable, but is the Kolossus Fleks Kable better than Stinger 0 Gauge
  5. This thread is not meant for bashing but what is this a good 0 gauge wire? A friend of mine had a bad experience with the Knukonceptz KLMX Kable, but is the Kolossus Fleks Kable better than Stinger 0 Gauge?
  6. I am going to get a 15" fi btl in my civic, being powered by 2500 watts, and i want to know ways to not let any sound come out of the car. Meaning, even with windows down, i dont want to be heard cuz i dont want to get shit jacked/annoy people. Is there a way to do this, or is it just going to be loud anyways, and i would just need to turn it down at times?
  7. actually sold the maxi and walled 2 15" bls in my civic, shattered the windshield
  8. make me cry?? lmao. really
  9. who are you to tell me what i want a system for?
  10. yea but most people on this site do this shit for competition cuz i got a friend who can hit 150 db on 2 fi bl 15s on 2500 watts, but u can only hear bass from like 10 ft away on max power
  11. I drive a nissan maxima, and I need a system that will be the BEST I CAN GET for my car. I'm not really crazy for competition, I just want to be be heard from far away when i drive and make sure everyone in the block heres me when i stop at a traffic light/stop sign lol. So will a FI BTL 15 on sundown 2000 in a ported box be good for that purpose or something less expensive such as 2 alpine type r 12s or 2 kicker cvr 12s in a sealed box. I also plan to fiberglass my box and raamat the shit out of my car. I am in somewhat of a budget, i dont want to go for more than $1000 for the sub(s)/amp, but i upgraded all the electricals in my car already (Optima yellow top, kinetic hc1800 as 2nd, stinger 0 gauge). Please give me suggestions so i can get the best system that meets my goals. By the way, i can only fit 1 15 ported, 2 15s sealed, 2 12s ported, and 3 12s sealed just to give you an idea on my trunk size. Thanks
  12. wire it in series or parrallel? which will work better
  13. does fiberglassing the box help?
  14. I just installed 8 brand new cadence comp. speakers, took out the factory speakers. I wanna blow them up, can someone tell me how. I heard that hooking them in 120 volts (regular outlet) will do the trick. Is there an easier way, or another better way? Kinda a goofy random question, and if not allowed on this forum, an admin can just take it off. =] thanks
  15. hey everyone thank you for the feedback...yea a friend of mine told me about Rammat so i will go with that....but does a sealed box give out cleaner bass than a ported....i mean, kickers generally want boxes tuned to 38 hz, so what would be best because i hate whangin lol
