*Copy from "That other" forum* Well it wasn't without some angst (Seller shipped 2 subs in 2 seperate boxes that came 4 days apart) but I finally have my new subs. As I've told a few of you, I'm a total sucker for gear that I drooled over when I got my first car. I've wanted a few of these for a long time. Prowler is a sneaky snake so he already knows what they are : ....... ...... a pair of 12" , 8ohm PPI pro's. One more thing before the pics...... as a testament to "they don't build em like they used to"; the 2nd one I got today was in a TERRIBLE packing job. I should have taken a picture of the box. These subs are 12.5"x 5.5" and the box was at least 20"x10"..... add in about 10-15 pages from a newspaper and you have ZERO padding for a 26lb sub. I come in today and see a box that has a sub-magnet shape bulging out the bottom and a tear nearby. I was thinking "oh crap the basket or cone will be fux0red"....... but it wasn't. These puppies are tough and make them wimpy 12 spokers look like junk : The tops: The Bottoms: The side view (nice and shallow for my Mustang ) These things were DIRTY little bastards when they came in. These pics are after a good hour with tissue and a tooth brush. I plan on painting the trim rings and maybe the back plates to complete the resto.

He measured the resonance of the tubes (glass part I believe) and the best solution was to place the cage on the amps. Just like from the factory.
