What size wire are you using that you could wire it to the fuse box?

Can anyone help me design a ported box for 2 RE 8's? Needs to be 1 cube, around 32 hertz... I just don't know how to figure out the Port Lenth (want a slot port), the external demensions (with port displacement), and so on... Any help would be great... Oh, it's not vehicele specific, just your basic retangular box... -BW

Well, they are 1000w rms each, running off of a 1500 watt amp, so they are only getting 750 each... They are in a sealed box, some of the local shops around here couldn't get them to work well vented, and kept blowing the dust cap to bits... The box it's roughly 2.4 cubes before displacement, so the box isn't too large either...

OK... Currently I'm running a pair of PPI DCX 12, they've been good to me, I enjoy them, but they don't have a lot of excursion & it seams like they bottom out on me at times... Lately I've been thinking about getting a RE XXX, either a 12 or 15... What would you do?
