RL-p15 power
*sorry for another amp question in a row i just got my RL-p15 in yesterday, biult a 2cu. ft. sealed box and ran it temporarily off an Alpine MRP-M350 amp. i had to drive the amp close to clipping for the lows to come out, but i know i was badly underpowering it. im planning to go ported once mike gets back to me on my ideas. i had these amps in mind: Alpine MRD-M1005/M605 maybe Rockford T10001BD MTX 801D PG Octane R 8.0.1 I really want to spend less than $350 though i know some that i listed are over that. any help would be appreciated. thanks

RE SX?
skmfkr: since im in hawaii, the shipping for an RL-p15 is $79, making the total for 1 driver $338, i called RE for the SX and they quoted me $290 shipped. (im talking about the 15s, but the 12" were $20 less). this is quite a hard decision. I want the LSQ..while saving money =P. well - heres what the setup would be if i were to get either of them: --- RL-p15 w/ MTX801D --- SX15 w/ Hifonics 1500w still thinking which one.....

RE SX?
What are your opinions on this sub? in my case, it is $48 cheaper than a RL-p (both being 15s). idk if im down with the 1000w rms though. do you folks think they will hit pretty much the same dbs in general, just one will sound nicer than the other?

any more db metered RL-p single 15"s?
anybody hitting close to 150.0 db's with one 15"?

any more db metered RL-p single 15"s?
now i know these subs are much more pleasing to listen to in terms of SQ compared to most of the other subs out there, but out of curiousity i would like to know if anybody got their dBs checked out. i know eric got some pretty good numbers *thumbs up*. anybody else?

15" RL-P or 15" Avalanche
okay, i know a lot* of people are talking about Resonant Engineering nowadays and i could honestly say that i believe the praise that they get. however, i like being different and i always try to find that 'sleeper' brand. i wanted to know how these 2 subs compare. i'd like the most SPL possible without sacrificing much SQ. Hitting the lows hard is a must too. I plan on running 800watts one of these, ported. Anybody got experiences with both? Im kinna torn between these 2 subs and i need something to stand out from the other. any help is greatly appreciated. thankss
