  2. yeah i seen that thread too when i was going through there forum. Seems like the ssa and sundown brands have alot of haters on that forum. seen a dude shit on the xcon saying it was a sub standard subwoofer that wasnt worth the money being asked for it. Needless to say i laughed and went to searching for good sales again
  3. go to knukonceptz for your wiring they some of the best prices around for 4 and 0 gauge amp kits
  4. for those prices i could get a PSI Sub that would hit way better
  5. i dont think its clipping i think it bottoming out. that amp doesn't have a adjustable subsonic filter its fixed at 15hz. So i think its time for you to get an adjustable subsonic filter
  6. I got a question can anybody explain to what time alignment does and how does it effect the sound of your music? Also how would you go about doing time alignment manually with the 9887?
  7. car looks great man. Wish my father was into cars and car audio like this when i was youner watch out for that fatmat though. I recently had to call them cause my fatmat extreme has been falling off the doors and melting. Have yet to get a response back from them.
  8. No amps under 1ohm, but thank you. well if he can achieve the higher voltages then he can do 4k at 1 ohm 16 volts but no problem just throwing some ideas out there
  9. crescendo audio 3kwp 4k at .5 ohms at 13.8 volts
  10. man those mids look sick. keep up the good work man
  11. welcome to the forum
  12. i just figured it be more cost effective for me since my amp has a fixed sub sonic filter at 15 hz. They have a f-mod that cut's off everything below 30hz and my box is tuned to 33hz so I thought it'd be perfect. Compared to buying another amp period If that is all you can get for now until you can get a better external SSF or an amp with a variable SSF then go for it, just my .02 you mean something like this? PFMOD HP-Sub or something else? which i dont know what that could be...
  13. mach 5 audio? Yup! their sold out
  14. mach 5 audio?
  15. could you possibly go into more depth with this. Cause i was really fixed on a 2 way active set up and i didnt want to cut anymore into my door panels

  17. have you tried ebay? or sonicelectronix or woofersetc?
  18. Is kerfing for looks or does it actually do something?
  19. i dont know what size speakers fit your car but for the price of those type s speakers you could find some alpine type r coaxial s and find a type r component set for the same price of that fusion component set. What kind of sound are you trying to produce? are you only just looking to replace stock?
  20. i was told on here it was just a marketing scam to basically make you believe you'll get better sound by using "their software". You can just tune the deck the same way as the software would. I guess it just takes a longer time.
  21. its a sad day when somebody is trying to charge $1500 for a cap. Alot of people are really uneducated about what their for.
  22. I dont see anywhere on their website where you can buy them
  23. the type r's were cool i have them right now. but i always get the feeling of what if i would have gotten the type x's. plus i should have ran them on 100 watts instead of 75
