we're talkin pro audio but yea i have heard the comp sets are good too. and for 99 a set i think its worth a try. well first wtf is "Pro Audio" and second looks like I am going to have to jump on these the tweeter on my type r's just went out randomly

But db-r has like 7 sundown 100x2 channel amp going for $150. the only problem is they have cosmetic scratches on them. I call them a steal. soon as i get rid of this inifinty 4 channel imma cop me one.

I guess I would see how much it is to repair it. Even if you decide you don't want it anyway, at least the repair might be cheap enough that you could sell the amp for more than the repair. Yeah i found a shop in san antonio that charges 35 to see whats wrong with it and give a quote. if its in my range Ill get it fixed and sell it. then use that money to buy the soundstream amp

found a decent amp. its a Soundstream DTR1.2200D. puts out 1400 at 2 ohms stable . a couple people at caraudio.com recommend it. seen it going for $ 338

so i guess theres no reason for mean to bring the hotdogs or bratwurst then?....

That crecendo is nice but its out of my range as far as price. I didnt want to spend more than $350 on a new amp but still get at the most 1500 watts at 2 ohms. i bought the dual 1 because I already had the amp and it runs 1000 watts at 2 ohms. I didnt know the amp was busted until yesterday. I hadnt touched the amp since march of 2009. It had just been hooked up in my car chillin the whole time.

I wish they had more amps to choose from.

now that i think about it. this amp isnt even worth getting fixed since it doesnt even have a subsonic filter on it.

after doing some research its hard as hell to find a good amp putting 1000+ watts thats 2 ohms stable for at least $350
