The main reason for the power was because with 750wrms in a rather large enclosure, I wasnt getting what I felt was full output. And ten sincei plan on putting it in a smaller box, bla bla bla. I've had a few convos with Stephen Ponte and I'm not worried about sending 1.5kW to the Ti, the only problem, if I'm responsible should be mechanical and that wont be a problem. Guess I will just have to expierement when I get back to the states, see what I like best for myself.

I know you have experience with them, but I have never spoke with you about what kind of set-up you like to run when using them. With that being said, your advice/thoughts are welcome and wanted

Last I had the system installed I was running my 15" Ti in a 4.3^3ft enclosure tuned to ~24Hz with roughly 750w on it. Loved the way it performed but I sold the Viper, partly because I needed money and parly because I plan on keeping the Ti and didnt like not using the amp to its full extent. Im thinkin around 1.2-1.5kW in something around 3^3ft tuned to a fairly low frequency. What do yall think for a daily set-up? I dont have any programs any more, they are all on the desktop which is en-route to Norfolk right now so I can't plot the enclosure size and tuning to see how it would work out. I know Denim has a lot of experience with Ti's, anyone else?

Eh?? Your resonant frequency is called a one note wonder?? I think your kind of confused To the origional poster, I will assume you have a general knowlege of enclosures and such. If you do, then you know that any enclosure will have a peak in response, which will usually give a peak in sound levels also. Using this, think of your vehicale basically as another enclosure. With that, you now have another peak in response, which is the res. frequency. It's not too complicated so tere really is no need to get really technical. Better?

Basket KIND OF resembles a Tempest. And the motor, well the small section of it, resembles that of a tempest also, just not dual magnets.

Yea, I have learned to sit and look at things and think slowly for a good 5-10 minutes before I finalize it. I have dont something stupid like that TOO MANY times.
