If I have my Pioneer 5000Ub headunit with LPF set at 80 Hz.Will I also have to set the Amp Low Pass Filter or can I leave it all up to the Headunit?

I'm thinking you wired the Subs to 4 Ohm. Are they sharing a single terminal cup or 2 separate. I'm asking because if you wire 1 Dual 4 Ohm Sub in Parallel it'll give you a load of 2 Ohms. Like in the pic below But if you connect both subs together on a single terminal you get a 1 Ohm Load in Parallel

Cool. What's the box tuned to? Is it true it's bad to port box on top?

Have you looked into the Mach5 IXL Subs? There is a few reviews on the Mach5 forum. And there mostly for SQ.

You can definitley get it cheaper off ebay. Some people might just like the added convenience of something getting it all together for them. Also alot of pioneers seem to have a problem with the grounding of the RCA outputs. I haver a Pioneer and could hear the engine noise through subs. Its a very easy fix though.

You should try CrutchField Just put in the vehicle you have and they'll give the you wiring harness and plastic case to go around the radio for free. Yes it going in a 2008 Silverado Sin. Cab. Not sure about Cubic Feet but it's tuned to 34 hz

I have a 2008 Silverado Single Cab and am getting a Single 10" SSA Icon and would like to buy a Planet Audio RXD1400 to push it at 2 Ohms. It will be giving it 1000Watts at 2 Ohms. Will stock electrical be sufficient? I also have 4 Gauge wiring which isn't to long due to truck being a single cab. What gauge wire should I use for speaker inputs?
