  1. Voted on both. He's pretty close on "Best Buzz" and winning on "Most Likely To Be Worth $1+ Billion".

You think the 2-4 drop will look good with my truck? Same tire size as the pic but my rims are probably wider. Yea that one on youtube looks tight. Yeah that would look tight i would still go with a 5-7 though or atleast a 4-6, but i like em loooooow. Yea i'm the same way. The lowest i'm thinking of is a 3-5 but i'm not sure. Probably just go for 2-4

I'm sticking with these, getting a 2-4 drop and possibly smaller series tire but 26's & 28's look exagerated. 24's are the highest i'll ever think of going. In person the rims look a lot better. After a 2-4 drop my truck will look this low.It has 22's with same tire size. Found it on cardomain.
  5. Cool man. Do you still have the Silverado with the SSA Icon? Also what amp are you using for these?

Thanks. you asked But there's always a "kinder" way to put it. But I ain't trippin' over it. You do you and i'll do me. The only thing I do thank you & all the others for is being honest.

Thanks. They costed me $1,800 with rims & tires. The camera makes the rims look different. They don't look like the same style in person. I want to take them back and get some with a smaller lip so I can drop it in the future. I hope the shop will take them back. But still keep the tires.
  9. That is weird. I checked both the Fi Forum and Website but it's not available. A rep from Fi can probably tell you what is recommended.
  10. Too bad the Funky Pup's are illegal in Texas. I use to have some with an internal amp the size of an ant that produced 20,000 watts RMS clean power. My car fell completely apart and had to buy this chevy truck. I also forgot to mention they were wireless and free-air.

The rear is lowered 3 in. and i would like to get a 2-4 drop but the guy at the shop said the rims would stick out since they have a huge lip.

Here is my truck with new rims. Tell me what ya think. Before: After:
  13. I have a 10" icon and it really hits the low's nicely. A 12" would do even better.
  14. Oh ok. I got it now. That's only with aero ports though right. I'm assuming regular pvc ports wouldn't need a large depth since they dont have the large diameter. I'll either go with a pvc port or more likely a slot port. Thanks alot for your help. Really appreciate it.
  15. LoL. Naw it's supposed to be jesus with it's legs crossed and praying.
  16. Thanks you helped a lot, I just got one question. When you say this quote do you mean the height need to be taller than 7.25".
  17. I recently got a great custom box by Audibel Customs for free but I was thinking about building my own fiberglass/mdf enclosure. The only reason I went with Audibel Customs was for the free enclosure if not I would have gotten the Mach5 IXL's. But the Custom box Quentin built is great and hits hard. I just need more space. What I plan on doing is making everthing mdf except for the base/feet of the box. The reason is because my truck has a lot of bumps/curves on the bottom behind the seats and I can gain some airspace in order to do 2 SSA Icon 10's in the future once money comes. I have learned/researched alot of other build logs on fiberglassing and think I have the capacity to do it over the course of the next few weeks in summer. I also want to tune pretty high like around 37-39 hz. It's just a personal choice, if I dont like it I will adjust. My big question is, How should I face the port? I'm thinking facing it upwards to get louder. Also, I was thinking of doing a round port but would slotted port save any space? Off-Topic: BTW, Tomorrow I'm getting 22" Rims for my truck!!! I will post pics in the Show-Off sec.
  18. Looks great!!
  19. My teacher showed me this the other day on the news. Some lady found this in her Cheetos Bag. This specific cheeto is called a Cheesus.
  20. Nice woofers. Subscribed...
  21. I would go for 2 10's ported. I got a SSA Icon recently and it has no problems goin' loud n' low. BTW the truck like in your sig looks tight.
  22. What amp will you be powering the sub with?
  23. Yea it's to help for the itching when sanding fiberglass.
  24. Nice job. What car is this going in?
