Were you going to bridge the other half of the 100.4 for the sub? if so it might not like a 2 ohm load. aww sheet, forgot about that. looks like it's getting about half power. Oh well, it's temporary anyways. i just read 320 watts, figured that looked good, didn't look at the "4 ohms". Good catch.

Yeah, ill run them 2 ohms, unbridged. Put the sealed 12 in there, it's wired to 2 ohms as well. Sound sound good. Need to go get some 2x4s to start building the base/frame for the false floor. Rain and easter prevented me from getting that done last weekend like i wanted. It's ok, i"m patient. Maybe ill place another bid for another pair sometime and lowball then work my way up.

Depends on the car. I got a 1/0 kit from Knu and i ran my wire to my amp, did the big 3, (3 runs from bat - to frame even) and then some in my car. Others may have to buy more than that. Get a piece of string out and use that to line up the run you would use for the three (possibly more) runs of wire you need. Add a foot or two and get that much

X2 on the open space. Maybe for heat dissipation? I've wondered the same thing on a couple amp gut"s i've seen. Maybe the want the amp to look larger than it needs to so people get impressed by it's physical size? Looks sexy though.

Did you ever find out what was wrong with the one that blew, so it doesn't happen again? Double check all your settings, and post up what you have everything set at if you need a couple different eyes to see if/what the glitch was. Looks good, those 8s look so damn beefy..

Too late. I Ordered my comps. today Next week i'll have a couple packages show up weeeee JBL's?? yes I think i got a deal on them. Sonicelectronix lists them at 250. Their ebay site has them at 140. I offered them 124.99 and got them. Shipped. I'm happy, makes me wonder how much lower i could have gone. and why there is such a price difference. Hope i didn't just screw myself, but i couldn't find anything different between any sites, just different prices. the metal pieces that is put on the end of the wire to battery terminals, grounds, etc. that need a bolt to be put through to secure them.
