I don't want anything that permanent

I have a 09 Silverado and I'm thinking about getting something like a console custom built so I can mount my iPad in it. I always have my iPad connected to my radio and I think it will look much cleaner mounted.. but anyway I want to have a set of components installed I'm the console also. how do you guys think it would should and will it be a waste of money to do so? these are the component sets that's I'm most interested in alpine type r sundown sa series comps incriminator audio comps

I was thinking that but when I asked the guy at the audio shop he said it wouldn't sound bad at all, and a'll i needed was some GOOD components

I convinced myself to go ahead and put a couple subs in my truck. I don't want to have to raise my seat or anything, so I'm going with a enclosure from Fox acoustics designed for my truck. But I still have a couple of questions... I know I will not be able to get ground shaking bass out of two tens or twelves, so I'm going for a sq setup. as for power I don't have an amp yet but I don't want to go overboard with power. 1. should I go with two vented 10's or two sealed 12's? 2 what's a good shallow mount dub to go with for under $300

i had an oppertunity to listen to the alpines not to long ago..their loud but seems to be lacking the mid bass..what speakers can get loud but reamin clearat the same time? the salesman reccomended some jl's but the were $500

had anyone head the alpine type r 6.5's?

did you get a chance to listen to alone or image dynamics?

what are some good 6.5's for under $200? I been searching for a while and a lot of people like image dynamics. I heard a set of focal and they sounded amazing. but I don't know the model

I didn't realize i had two similar threads about the same thing., but to clear everything up. i want to keep it under $850-$900 but I can push it to $1k if it week be a significant difference for the speakers, subs and amp for the component speakers. Now that I think about it 12's will be to big. So i guess it had to be 8's or 10's. the reason went i dint want to fab anything because i dont really have the time and I want to get evening done at once. As far as what I want...i want a clean sounding system with some bump

added features like pandora xm radio,er options,ability to add navigation bluetooth, power and soon. i was looking at the Pioneer AVH-P8400BH

no processing...do i need something like that or not? im not doing and fab,i saw a nice box that everyone reccomonds for under the seat my first plans wasto go sub-less but i may go two 10's or two 12's

Whats the best double din headunit out there with the most features for under $850

i can cough up more...i was just saying $250 just for the speakers. what do you suggest for under $1000 not including a headunit

i want to run everything off stock electrical system with a bugdet of $900 not including headunit, and with space i have to measure under the seat to see what i have to play with

what 3 way speakers would you suggest for under $250. I thought about putting four 8" subs under the rear seat

I have a 09 silverado crew cab with factory radio and speakers. I don't know if i want to put a box under the rear seats or not but I do want some nice sound and clarity.. what are my options for good mids and highs? As for my budget i don't really have one but I don't want to spend a fortune

I have a saz-3500 and my current box is 3.5 per sub. Im looking for something that will get louder and sound better. If I can't make mind up within the next 2-3 weeks I'm going to sell my whole system

certain songs have sloppy bass, idk if its a setting that could need adjusting or it could be the way the song is. i might just install it since i have it and play with it and if it take away from the system i'll just uninstall it.
