Ok I think all can agree I need a new paint job. Ok this has been my goal for a decent amount of time and I marked 2010 as my start date for accomplishing this goal. Ok I have to admit it looks better with the rims, but they were only 20's anyway (outside pics) My personal favorite pic. It looks like my truck is challenging ALL comers. lol still doing some uploading and editing, I want to get this stuff off of my hard drive space and actually use them. lol

Ok the box was started today, but had to be started later in the afternoon because the installer/builders friend was in a car accident at 3 am yesterday so I told him to take his time and when he feels ready to start on his time. So this is the progress so far. I will be getting one more gallon of resin and order a roll of 19 oz glass mat for the bracing. I am going above the window line as you all can see. I will be triple baffling the face and doubling the MDF all the way around. This thing is a beast. With one baffle the height is about 24 inches, the width is 48 inches and the length is 52 inches. Big as hell I know. lol so get ready this box is about to be beastly. I honestly didn't think it would look this big. The main installer/ builder (Shea) The box

This is not to anyone in particular I just want to deal with this before it comes up. For those that say or think "he is copying from Meade," I am not copying off of anyone. I will say I like what Meade has done with that Tahoe, but I saw that he had BTL's when I ordered my first BL. I decided a little while after I got the BL that I wanted to move up, so I decided to go with the BTL's. I was only going to run 2 BTL's after I sold my BL (newer version), but after I got the first 2, I found a deal that I saw as a steal. So I decided to run with 4 18" BTL's. I am NOT by any means an expert on BIG builds, but I have been around car audio for some years and have a decent amount of knowledge. I look forward to advice and anything else that will help me along my build. I know that there are still going to be those that think I am a hugger or just plain want to see me fail, but oh well. I don't plan on running anything RF, nor kick panels, not a vinyl box. My build will actually be waaaaaay different than his. As a matter of fact the only thing we will have in common is 4 18" BTL's, maybe a similar box, (but realistically it really is not too much you can do with 18's and I am not looking to wall them), and we both drive Chevy (he has a Tahoe and I have a Suburban). I don't look to put computers in my ride, , nor my name in the headrests. I look to doing my own thing and I would like the help of others in my effort. I will be the first to tell you I don't know it all, but I can tell you this, if I don't know the answer I will find it or have someone that knows what they are doing do it. So enjoy this build and I will not be rushing it so please be patient, and by the way this was not kind of diss to Meade, just a show of our differences in our rides.
