  1. True and I am not sure I will be able to handle it lol. Got in a truck with 3 15's and almost gave up lol. Ears were itching like crazy. Then I got a taste of one if my tweeters and a 6.5 (out of 4) and told them to turn it down lol.You spoiled my lil surprise lol. Just be patient grass hopper lol. So you here you stated 3 15s was almost to loud, and now you have 4 18s on two DC 3.5s and are still going to add two more amps lol? Lol I guess it doesn't take too long to get used to lol. My ears are no longer virgins to powa lol.
  2. On my VERY FIRST car competition ever I walked away with a first prize trophy and a final score of 151.6 DB. A BIG thanks to EVERYONE who helped me out. Especially the shop who took care of me (K&N Audio). Those who have given good input, gave good advice, and steered me in the right direction. Of course I am thankful to my family and most importantly I am thankful to God for this awesome experience. Met A LOT of cool people there most of which I have contact with now. I have A LOT to edit, upgrade, etc., but I had an AWESOME time and for my first show I have to say I am proud. Videos coming soon.............. This guy did 155 on his FIRST burp and wasn't even trying. If he would have competed I would have EASILY been 2nd, but he decided not to. Of course he had 4 3500 watt soundquebed and 4 18" Level 5's vs my 2 Dc 3.5's and 4 18" Level 4's.
  3. EXACTLY Thanks bro Lol Upgrading to have another H/O alt, more batteries, 2 more DC 3.5's, and more DB's lol. Yes I have a Mechman 270 amp alt on a dual bracket with my stock alternator.
  4. Thanks bro and yes they do.
  5. Today's upgrades: First up.... no more stock grill, and HID upgrade. Rear LED lights And of course, the SUBS CAME IN TODAY!!!!!!! Also notice the decal sent from DC.
  6. A few small updates. Still waiting on my other DC subs to come in. Hoping to have enough time to get them a little broken in before the show this Saturday. New amp rack still working on it: New amp rack almost done: My birthday gift from my wife today:
  7. Got you and thanks for that advice. I am learning. Lol.
  8. Originally I wanted Level 6's anyway lol. My pockets just weren't feeling the price lol.
  9. Handling power. I eventually plan to go to 2 10k's and want subs that can handle the power. I am currently in the early stages of phase 1 lol. A lot to do, but I am thinking about Level 6's and have done a lot of reading and watching of these subs.
  10. Oh ok why is that? I have been gone for a while lol.
  11. Just like the title says. I am just curious to see if anyone has any 18" DC Level 6's for sale (Dual 1's). I am not creating a WTB thread because I am just seeing if there are any floating around then I will make my decision. I have been reading up more on these subs and believe the Level 6's are more of what I would like to lean towards ultimately. I know shipped new they are $805 from DC, but want to see if there are any that are used first. If I decided to go with Level 6's YES my 4 Level 4's would be for sale, but I just want to get an idea. Also if you have these I may be willing to give you an awesome trade. As I said this is just thread of interest so please no bashing.
  12. I don't work in audio. Wish I did would have saved me a lot of time and money.I let K&N audio do my build. Thanks man.
  13. Definitely have to have fun lol. Can't be so serious.
  14. True I just have to find that friend in AR lol.
