THe factory amp for the speakers is under the passenger seat. The sub amp and sub are both in the tire well. I just cut the remote off that amp and used it.

Its in an RSX-S THanks for the help. I'll have my fingers crossed that it'll fix it, but if not maybe my warranty will cover it.

ya its like when you touch the battery to the wires of the sub it'll pop up, but its a little harsher. and it just does it once whenever the headunit turns on or it goes to a new song.
