  1. lookin good keep it up
  2. lol no problem man! i'm glad it was only that and not something big for you
  3. it will be the issue. here's the process: -turn car on -put volume on zero -use your DMM to measure the voltage at the location in which your voltmeter is wired up to -adjust that screw that i mentioned to match the voltage read by the DMM
  4. i think i know you have a stinger voltmeter.. i just checked your build log but did you adjust the voltmeter? when you take off the cover you'll see a little screw. this is to adjust to voltmeter's reading due to the resistance in the wires that are hooked up to the power source.
  5. you will not be disappointed. and no problem
  6. oh perfect since you can use both with this deck. i haven't tried a flashdrive yet but the ipod interface on the deck is very nice.
  7. They charge to much to skimp on an install, regardless if you loose the love you should still run a good business. Taking a job to a "So-called Professional" then they should do professional work or at least tell you they cant do something. That is what I tell people who want me to install things or setups I have no experience with, I cant do it since I have not before (doesnt mean I cant just dont want to until I have done it before and feel comfortable doing it again). yea i totally agree. but you know. some people just don't care. good business ethics aren't their top concern. it's all about the buck.
  8. some people just lose their love for it once they start doing it for money i guess just my theory though. and ofcourse i know that doesnt apply to all.
  9. it's not that one is better than the other. but, get it in dual 1 so you can wire it to 2ohms
  10. absolutely love it i definately recommend it do you use an ipod in the car or?
  11. very nice truck and very clean install keep the pics coming
  12. again... this song makes the rattling sound 20x's worse lmao voltage=bad but no point in a HO alternator now.
  13. camera makes the rattling sound 10x's worse i swear lol
  14. can see some decent flex inside.. but only like 50% of it :/
  15. time to do work i predict heavy bass in the saturn soon
  16. i've worked with both in the freezing ass winter. second skin needed no heat gun. it stayed as tacky as it was when i had it in the house. it's also much easier to work with. it forms easier around things and it more flexbile in my opinion. the dynamat is stiff and looses its tackiness when cold. and cuts the fuck out of your fingers. unlike second skin. and after applying dynamat to the whole top half of my trunk lid. it still rattles like a muthaf'er. along with the other places i put it. so if price isn't a problem. get the second skin. hope that can make your decision a little easier.
  17. another vid while driving hehe quality sucks as of now but maybe it'll get better when it's done processing. as of now my lttle sisters cheap kodak pink camera picks up more flex than this iphone camera
  18. IMO second skin is better than dynamat. and is worth the money but i don;t really understand this part.. "ican get the door kits, 20sq, for $44 out the door and this stuff is 90 or the the same amount" what do u mean?
  19. in the process of publishing 4 videos to youtube from my phone.. i think they came out pretty good considering
  20. i love that feeling of knowing it's on the way pics will be necessary
  21. so i learned two things earlier -iphone camera sucks in dark -iphone mic does 'ok' with bass but distorts to the point that the highs can't really be heard... well with my setup atleast
  22. The Notorious B.I.G. - Me & My Bitch
  23. lol time whip out the credit card
  24. yeah. well sort of. ive never done it but ive read about what it is and im going to have help with that when it comes time to do it by somebody thats actually done it before so im good to go there. i have really good resources when it comes to the installation part which is a learning process for me but its just the products that are confusing because theres so many and so many personal opinions on things. ok well then that's good and thanks. oh and by the way. the sundown amps' power light are an LED blue along with the light on the remote knob. so it would match your black and blue theme that you mentioned
