  1. hmmm.. i know of a 4 door sedan that is quite a bit faster than yours <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Are we thinking of the 96 Impalla SS with the Corvette engine perhaps? B)

  3. Hey guys i'm looking for a set of components. With the $500 im playin around with, I figure I can buy a new sub amp, probobally a viper 1200.1 for my subs. I will use my 300 wRMS x2 amp to power some components, which seems like a lot but i think I could get by with gains set low. do u guys think thats safe? anyway my budget for comps is less than $200. I will be installing the mids in my doors, imaging isnt a major concern for me, and I cant build kicks anyway. I'm pretty sure I will do some sound deadening, so I need comps that will do well infinite baffle. midbass is pretty important to me, and I can't stand harsh-sounding tweets, so I guess that means a silk tweeter is preferred. And they will be overpowered so something that has good power handling is necessary. My doors are deep, almost 4" so that leaves me very flexible on the depth. any suggestions?
  4. im glad to see most of the cool members of CA.com are here. thanks for all the welcomes
  5. 100 watts is only a fraction of what that sub can handle. even if you clip the hell out of your amp I doubt you would damage the sub... but I still wouldn't recommend it. Set your gains accordingly.
  6. i've been on CA.com for some time... its getting kinda old. Was recommended this forum by a few members. Looks pretty good.
