  1. ok thats cool, i was just wondering. im guessing it would be around 190ish watts or so. what is the sweet spot for a set of boston pro60's? (how much power)
  2. is there a technical way of finding out how much power an amp puts out @ 3 ohm? my boston pro60s are 3 ohm, and i was thinkin about gettin a zx550.2, and thats 205w rms x 2 @ 2 ohm, and i think 175 @ 4, i could take a ball park guess around like 190ish maybe, but is there an actual way to figure that out with math, or do i gotta get the amp, get a DMM, etc etc? VJ
  3. ya, my friend has 2 in each door, they sound nice and have nice midbass. that is a good idea for the rear, as were the tang band subs for a few more bux, but i ended up getting coax because i figured, once i put the XXX in, im not gonna even hear the polys or tang bands in the rear if i had went that route. thats my opinion at least.
  4. well i ended up getting a set of JBL GTO936's. 77 shipped bnib.
  5. what are the prices on those JBLs? im looking for something like 50-70 bux, and like 70ish w rms...nothing expensive
  6. i cant click ebay links at work, ill have to check those out when im off. and as far as diy comps, i dont want to have to mount a tweeter in the back, i want it to look as factory as possible. the only things that u can tell are changed are the HU and when i add the sub in the back. pro60's will be in the front behind the stock mid and tweeter grilles.
  7. ive got boston pro60's for the front. im was thinkin, maybe a set of those 6x9 tang band "subs" for the rear, but when i eventually put in my 12" xxx, i probably wouldnt even be able to tell the tang bands are there. should i do coaxial's in the rear? whats a decent set of 6x9s if so?
  8. i just bought a set of boston pro60s for the mini. not sure if im gonna run rear fill yet or not...my question is...should i keep the factory HU and run a 3sixty.1 or jl cleansweep or one of those, and keep the factory HU, but with aftermarket speakers, subs, amps? or should i get an aftermarket HU? i want it to look some what factory, so if i get a HU, its prally gonna be the alpine 9855 becuase its black and you can change the color to amber i believe, so itll match all my dash lights better. anyone use the clean sweep? its like 119ish on ebay i think... pro's, con's? i never use cd's in the mini anymore either...i have a factory AUX input on the stock HU, and i use my ipod.
  9. dont believe i did
  10. I lol'd!! I think the "lets see how many mids/tweets we can put in here" thing is getting old. I see it more and more everyday around Orlando. people dont do it for show...they do it becuase thats how they like it to sound.
  11. LOL! thats crazy, i dont like them that much...lol
  12. donno.
  13. i like it so thats all that matter
  14. ok looks like im doing that then.
  15. i thought someone on here in another thread told me it would...
  16. ???
  17. besides diff prices on the amps, would the 1st way (wiring them in parallel AND series) affect the speakers any? #1 #2
  18. what you guys think would be best for the new wall will be tuned @ 30-35 hz wall is for music, not burps.
  19. ya i cant finish one thing lol. can i hook an xbox/ps2 to that monitor since it doesnt have composite inputs?
  20. ya it does lol
  21. ok i just realized this one doesnt have rca inputs, so how would i hook up an xbox/dvd player....lol
