ya i like it, i bought 100ft of it, why, idk, ill prally only use 50, but hey it was cheap.

im not gonna sell, i bought it for the cooper, its in my truck now on 1200w and its pretty loud, will be insane in the mini IMO. i paid 200 for it though. i was just seeing what you guys would have paid for it compared to what i paid. bought it off a friend locally.

what you guys think this sub is worth with the crack in it, even though it doesnt affect the performance? just curious what you guys would have paid. other than that its perfect.

im guessing the dust cap, i thought that was part of the cone, i guess confused on xxx's cuase theres no "boob" dustcap...so the whole thing is the dust cap? its cracked right above the xxx logo.

what can i put on the crack to help it hold together for the time being, its a sligh crack, and its not really getting any bigger, but it probably will with time, i bought it for the mini cooper, and im gonna use it until i need a recone. it doesnt have any affect on performance so at the moment a recone doesnt concern me. but im wondering if theyres anything i can put on the crack to help hold it together (hopefully something that wont be too ugly either) but ill have to live with it. Actually the new plan now is to get an 18" lcd with vga outputs(I guess?) Its gonna be glassed in the dash, I'm gonna try and order some of the stuff tonite including the monitor :-)

I sold my eclipse cd8445, so as of now I'm without a hu. I was gonna get the 780mp but most people say the 880prs has so many more features. The 880 is like 300 give or take a few bucks on ebay I believe...now...I know the carputer will be more money, but I've wanted to have one for a while now, and I'm thinking...why buy a 300 dollar hu, and then in a year or 6 months replace it with a carputer? How would this work with my setup? Would it sound as good as the 880? Basically I want It becuase I have like 30 gigs of songs on my pc, so I can just play them from the hd instead of having multiple cds. What do you guys think I should do? If I do the computer, its not gonna be slow...I'm gonna get like 1gig of ram, a 250gb hd, etc. Plus I have my blackberry, and can plug it into my USB port and it let's me have access to the internet. Its not fast enough for downloading, but great for forums and email and AIM, stuff like that. Anyways, give me some ideas guys. Thanks VJ

What battery terminals will accept 2/0 wire? I have 2 of the knu konceptz terminals and they are supposed to fit 1/0 but that looks like its pushing it...which ones should I get?

im only running 1 amp on the 16v circuit. my other 2 amps for 16 mids and highs will be run off the 12v circuit.

actually this is a daily setup...im not gonna get into competing really...just at local shows prally...i dont wanna travel everywhere and all that.

all my batts will be right under the amp itself. longest wire will be from the 16v alt to the batts in the cargo. and what do u mean run 1/0 to a dist block and then 4 gauge? 4 gauge to the amp?

gotcha. so should i get 1/0 or 2/0? will 2/0+ fit into my amp?

ive looked at both, trystarcables seems to have cheaper prices. weldingsupply.com has gone up like twice recently. i had it copied in a notepad a while back for future reference incase i lost the site, and i noted that it was like 1.60 a ft. its like 2.08 now...trystar has 2/0 for 1.99. does more thin strands transfer the current better than less thick strands? guy at trystar said their 1/0 has 1045 strands and their 2/0 has 1330 strands. the knukoncepts 1/0 has like 5100 strands...

who uses it? whered you get it and for how much? i need to order some power wire, 1/0 or 2/0, maybe bigger, i dont know yet. its for my 16v batteries, alt, and my soundstream xxx10000. should i run welding wire? or get nice caraudio 1/0? ive been reading about both, and its like 50/50...some like welding, some say it sucks. i dont know which i should buy.
