I'm at best buy now, and it seems that the knob on the pioneer 7800 is rather hard to turn...not as smooth as the other models...need plyers to change tracks lol...maybe its just broken like every other display piece of car audio is?

Well ima prally sell my cd8445 soon, I like it, just don't like some features...like no pause, the remotes volume is UNGODLY slow...and to change tracks, when I hit a bump, the damn knob slips and goes up 10 songs lol...might get an 06 pioneer

i love the ATT button on pioneers...thats the only reason i may get a pioneer and sell my eclipse cd8445, cuase i dont like to mute it, then half the song goes by...i like to pause it. i think i may sell it soon...

Yea I'm doing a 2nd circuit running at 16v for my system. Casey- there is turbostarts on ca.com for sale? If that's what your talking about then its prally the same ones I was looking at. Ill prally just get the tubrostarts... Anyone need 2 odyssey pc1700's? Hehe

What are some good 16v batts I can get to run my soundstream xxx10000 off of(10,000w rms @ 1 ohm, wanna get the most I can outta this amp...and that rating is at 16v...)? I know a guy selling 4 turbostart s16va's for 400 shipped, and he said he installed them but never used them, so they're basically like new. What other brands are out there? Interstate? Powermaster? Kinetic? Should I get a bunch of 8v's and wire them to make 16v? Also if I do buy those 4 turbostarts, will that be enough for my amp, or will I need more? This will be for daily use and I'm gonna run a seperate alt to charge them, I don't want the little regulator thing to switch from 12 to 16... Thanks in advance, VJ

isnt the regulator to switch from 12v to 16v when u want? like ur gf's uncle? i want to be able to drive and use the 16v system at the same time...i guess the 16v alt would be the best solution? i emailed knukonceptz about a 16v alt...they havent replied yet about that...i dont know if anyones tried their alts yet either, but i know ppl like all their other products so im assuming they make good alts as well...

Oh I know, I'm gonna keep my stock alt and redtop for the starter batt and the car itself, and run a 16v alt and batts for the SS...I just can't pass up 1k for this amp, brand new in the box... What all do I need to accomplish this 16v system, and to keep it charged properly for daily use? Are the 16v turbostarts good batts? I can get 4 for 150 shipped each, in mint condition, and I can prally talk him down too...what other 16v batts are there? how would running a 16v system work daily? i plan on running dual alts either way, even if i stay 12v, would it be a good idea to run my 2nd at and batts at 16v so this amp can produce a big amount of power? opinions? how would i go about doing this? VJ

everyone that ive talked to thats had one/has one tells me itll do about 10k @ 16-17v...the rating IS 10k w rms @ 16v...i dont know if any of you know Tuan? (Toxic Tuan) but hes got one and says on a good 12v system itll do about 8k w rms @ 1 ohm...i mean on ebay the amp is 2200, im just getting it for 1000... also i know shawn flemming's friend Mike, the guy with the yukon and 4 18" mts runs 2 soundstream xxx 6500's on his mts... i dont know...lol
