  1. I really don't care that the letters were impersonal; i'm just glad to have stickers!. BTW, are these stickers for interior or exterior(or both)
  2. I ordered it with red inserts and graphite after asking like 8 people for their opinion.

I did 55 in a 35 zone, first offense and didn't bother going to class. my insurance didn't increase at all.
  4. I used to own a DX700 and 3 10" compvr's, sealed though. Personally, I'd go for the brahma/jbl any time. They sound better and can get louder with right enclosure and power. You can't really figure out power output exactly without benching it but a solid guess would be since the dx700 does 350 at 4 ohms and around 700-800 at 2 ohms that it would do around 600 or so watts (just mathematically since halving the impedence doubles the power).
  5. yep, best buy definitely carries them, but don't let that fool you, they are not crap like a lot of stuff they sell. If you don't like em, there is a budget brand called Streem speakers that have got some good reviews.
  6. There are lots of brands out there ranging from like 20 bucks to hundreds of thousands. The athena's are budget nice sounding speakers. They can be had for around 150 for a pair of em. The ones i got were around 1000 after shipping and they're still "budget" speakers
  7. Maybe some Athena speakers. Don't worr, I wussed out too and bought a pair of Usher Audio speakers from out of country. I got a good deal on em cause they are manufactured in Taiwan; pretty much got em for invoice price which was still fairly expensive.
  8. NAD, Pioneer for receivers. Are you plannin on building the speakers or just buying them pre-built?
  9. 41 is a little high for a mix of sq/spl for most subs. I think 30-40 are great numbers for street beaters.
  10. I decided to go for it but still debating on colors ... Any opinions on whether i should do suede or just pure leather?
  11. You should bench that amp and see how it does.
  12. Thanks for letting me know, that was the only part confusing me cause it really made no sense
  13. I'm not sure yet. My car is steel gray. The factory seats were gray cloth and interior lighting is almost completely red. I'd probably do a gray and some other color. Any opinion on colors?
  14. SLU over in Hammond.
  15. Here and sounddomain says the same thing
  16. I was thinking about getting two color-tone leather seats to replace the crappy cloth in my car. Is it worth the trouble? or will it burn my butt off in the humid/hot weather in Louisiana? I was thinking maybe either two toned perforated leather or leather with suede insert... Right now they are offering 599 for the basic leather (+30 for two tone, +25 shipping, +85 for suede or +35 for flat perforated inserts) from http://leatherseats.com/ until Nov. 1 or 679 after.
  17. Damn that is some nice work. I got a new ride as well, a mazda6; i've got some plans for it including a pair of 15" RL-p's to get in there with some fiberglass work. Man that is a nice HT. I am moving my 15" brahma Mk.1 to my HT setup(i currently use a pair of Usher audio towers). Need a nice new TV as well. But with all these plans and how busy it is with school and two jobs, i need cash and time. It will be a slow process...
  18. oh, but everywhere i find that equation it says Vb=sq. inch So i always get confused
  19. Thanks, i usually use some kind of calculator so i always forget <{POST_SNAPBACK}> but that's to convert to cubic inches not square inches.. hopefully that's what u were after! wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee:slayer: <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Well, i was trying to get the Vb so it would have to be sq. in. right?
  20. Thanks, i usually use some kind of calculator so i always forget
  21. We got out the whole week
  22. What is the conversion factor to make cubic feet into square inches?
  23. Man i suck, i can only go down to 41. Never mind, got to the 33 mark
