Just like the title says. I plan on getting 2 12's and SA-12 seems perfect for my budget. I plan on spending about 400 on subs. Also will an SAE 1200 work well with these? Any info is appreciated.

X2 I have the same amp but the 05Kx version and I have my bass boost all the way down and gain about 67% up. No problems whatsoever. Who told you to have the bass boost up and gain down??

rodney I agree to all of the terms in the first post. Car is a 2000 Honda Accord I have a 15" BTL running off of a kicker kx2500.1, head unit is a pioneer deh-p4100ub I have jbl 6.5 mids I have all 1/0 gauges runs. I only have 20 sq feet of dynamat in my trunk but was planning on trying out second skin. I can show all the rich white boys at my school and in my town second skin and they will buy it haha. I would do a build log with before and after pictures and vids I just turned 17 on sept 11th And I'm starting a new job next week and I tore my acl last year haha

Ok. Well I'm running a Kicker kx2500.1 all 1/0 gauged out with a duralast marine battery in a 3.5 cuft box tuned to 32.5 I was playing hood nigga for a good 2 minutes into the song and it was hittin those lows HARD and that's when I smelled it. So I just turned it down and the smell went away. I didn't pull over to see if the dustcap was hot or anything but after an hour when I did get home it was pretty warm. I honestly think I need a new box mine has no bracing. But that shouldn't be the problem. Maybe it cause I'm running 14 speaker wire?

I smell it but my sub is still playing fine I'm just curious if it fucked my sub up at all? I got the cooling options on the btl so I should fine if I let it cool down for a few minutes?

I told some guy to build me a box for my btl and he suggested I buy w7's and when I said I wanted ported he said a sealed box would be louder?? Dumbass.
