  2. also you can charge batteries from a wall socket.....my boat has a trolling motor and it uses some what of a car battery and all we have to do is charge it after use....btw batteries arent really to much i could found a good 1 for like 60 bucks...................

  4. so my fi bl 18 is on the way along with my 2400watt amp,,,my cars alt only puts out 105 amps so ill be needing a 2nd battery...i dont wanna do the big 3 tom uch money so how can i hook up a battery??? -can i put the 2nd battery in my trunk??? -if so am i supposed to hook it up to the alt or do i just once in awhile recharge it??? -wtf?

    From what i understand from lots and lots of research the BL is what your looking for,,,everything you said i like in my sub and thats why i orderd the BL 18 last night lol,,,,im not sure the Q can compare to the BL line and i think the more cone surface the lower the notes so i would go with a 15 or 18 BL =) it also depends on the size of your box.
  7. I just found out my car only puts out 105 amps max on its alternator with only 1 battery....will i be able to power my fi bl 18" sub, lights and air conditioning at the same time?????/The sub will be running 2 omhs -1200RMS

Ok so let me get this straight........so 1 ohm basically is the max power of the sub...but when u go to 2 ohms its cut in half because its spread out to 2 motors but overall pretty much matching the same power as the 1ohm???and 4ohms basically overall matching the same power as the others if each ohm was combined???/ Im real confused someone explain it!!!!!Also what you think is better a 2ohm BL or 1ohm..
  9. wow i checked that amp u recommended and that thing is alot more powerful than the other,,,only about 20 bucks more =)....ill probably end up getting the one u gave me thnx for that!!

  11. Im gonna get Fi BL 18 2 ohm and im looking for an amp under $150....what am i looking for a class D amp or what theirs so many!!!,,,,,i also wanna max the RMS at 1000watts...and btw to max the subs Rms am i looking for a sub that has 1000watt RMS at 2 ohms or 1 ohm??

    Well im getting the 2ohm Fi 18 BL and i found an amp that has 2ohm 1000wattrms with 2000W MAX,,,,,,other amps with a max of 1000W have a 2ohm 500w RMS,,,,,,,what do i need for my subwoofer 1000W RMS i guess??? Can someone tell me whats the difference betwee 4ohm,2 ohm,and 1 ohm,and what do they do???
