The problem I have with the audiocontrol pieces are that you can only look at one band at a time. I like looking at the frequency spectrum as a whole sometimes. It allows me to tweek things so they flow a little better.

Are you always going to have your computer with you to adjust frequencies? I was just going to buy a netbook. I planned on buying one anyway. If needed I can always bring it with me. It beats going to the trunk to adjust it. Will the 360.2 work for what I want it to do (main concern is will it split the frequencies to mids and highs (front rcas highs and rear rcas mids))?

bass is always omnidirectional. there is no exception to that. and yes, like normal people, there has been plenty of times that i hear a loud system, and look into a crowd of cars and have a difficult time telling which one it is. hmm... maybe im just weird? the only way u can tell where its coming from, is when the volume gradually increases as it gets closer, peaks in volume, and then gradually decreases as it gets farther away. other than that, bass has been and will always be dubbed omnidirectional. Well , I have to dissagree ! frequencies shift as you are moving away or towards something , in short : to the person standig/sitting stil the sound shifts .you produce higher frequencies when you drive towards them as the sound is compressed and lower as the soundwaves are elongated as you move away from him . same goes for SPL ,the closer the person is to you it louder it wil be. this way even bass frequencies can be detected easily from which direction they come from . so low frequency waves themselves are omnidirectional you in your car are NOT The phase will change yes, but frequency no. Wouldnt that do less than the 360.2? The 360.2 can be used for either OEM or aftermarket. It has everything in it that you stated you should look for in a signal processor and more. Plus you can tune it with your computer via bluetooth meaning you no longer have to run back to the trunk to adjust frequencies.

It might be the fact that your aftermarket alarm is engaged and your factory is disengauged or vice versa. Use your factory key fab to unlock all the doors and also use your aftermarket key fab to unlock the doors. This will disengauge any alarms. Now try doing whatever you were doing and it should work. If not you most likely reset the settings on your aftermarket alarm tuned for your car and you have to reprogram it.

*pukes* Can you write an actual sentence or are you only capable of ellipses? 2 ohm components are a marketing gimic and not helpful in your overall plan, the RE's do NOT have especially good midbass, I'd "love" to see you put 300wrms to their tweeter, and who cares about power when your efficiency is crap. All in all that was not a good recommendation at least for the reasons cited. Oh the CDT's you picked out surely won't have midbass though. Alright since everyone is calling me out for grammar I will switch it up. The midbass on the REs are incredible for a 6.5. As for the 300wrms goes, that is to the mid and tweeter. I will give you the efficiency could be better and you do need a lot of power to get them to shine.

x2 - i didnt feel like going into detail but if the cop was close they definately can tell ... it is easy to tell where the low frequencies are coming from esp if u r rattling around =)
