The Memphis 500d or the 1000d would work nicely and they are the same exact thing as crossfire amps if you looking into those too.

How do you like those CV subs you are using, those fit nicely into the cheap 10 im looking to get for my friend. He has 130watts rms and a 1cuft sealed box.

Id say go with the ID comps or the Kodas depending on what kind of mounting depth you have. And I like the idea of the Big Belle, still wish I kept mine. Subs, subjectional mostly. Whatever fits the bill.

I might end up going with a Koda 8, the amp isnt 2ohm stable. My only concern is im nto overly fimiliar with the logitech sub thats in it and if there would be a comparareble difference going with the koda. Because for a computer set up this sub does hammer. maybe even RE could do a custom coil RE 8 sub for me, or even better maybe a ID V.3!!!

I had the CDT HD62's in my explorer with 75 watts they were enough to fill the car. I had rear speakers that I would fade back to when I had passengers in the back, but that was their only use. You want your soundstage to be infront of you as opposed to behind you or centered within the car. Think of a concert.

Yeah its real lioud the kids that live upstairs hate it. So with that in mind I'm just looking to do a drop in replacement. With 188 watts of power that Rl-i 8 Looks like a good canidate, though the mounting depth may become a problem. But I also have no prblems getting a new box and dropping the plate amp into that. I prefer just a basic swap if I can though.

I usually look for speed and reaction of the sub, I assume it will be rather slow due to the box size. I'll have it slugged by Friday, which is also when my amp will be turned up past 1/5 gain level.
