1. wait what about cab gain and things like that.... lets say he got a half db gain... but some notes could gain even more then that depending on his cab.... because i know if you do the math on your watt to db loudness its LOUDER in the car or truck because of the gain... untell you get into the 150+ db range
2. unless you run into problems with the coil heating up and the ohm load going up to the point were the sub gets less power ... I dont see how you would not be able to tell the gain from the extra 1000 watts... its a btl.... Just dont play it to high < aka over heating coils and dont play it to low < snapping lead wires... I seen alot of people run 3k to the triple stack btl's and the style before the neo's say what you want but alot of people are doing it... and there subs dont even get hot...
3. Idk about the rest of you guys... If the guy has the money or has the chance to get a 3k over a 2k... 3k all the way... Plz dont hate but i feel if a subs in a box and it had 2000 watts then bumped too 3000 watts ... i could tell if it was louder or not... thats a 50% gain... on power... I seen all the points that were made about that tho but... thats my view and its only 50% over powering... I think a btl with no options could take it. Plus its in a ported box... as long as his subsonic and lowpass is set on dial he should never have a problem.. or at least i would hope ( and dont go crazy on me the 50%gain is not spl i was saying the extra 1000 watts is the 50% gain )
4. Is he talking about a fuse inline with the amp and sub ?
5. Thanks for the info but i just asked a question. I was making sure i dont waste my time. And im sorry your wrong on the it will work out safer and cheaper. the price of shipping is not free. and reconeing a sub is not that hard.
6. Could i get a price on a motor and cone ? and can the motor fit on a Fiq basket

i heard about it at some spl events.... but i want a 22" q or maybe they could just make a whole new line of speakers... you can get your 22 in what ever setting you want... SQ """SQL""" or SPL
9. man i got the power why not use it... and i dont want to cut a hole or do any thing to run 2.. do it right the first time... if i can...
10. Can i get custom coils made for it to be 2 ohms and have it setup to take 200 rms playing 80hz to 3k hz...... i take it that they can have custom cones and coils made like subs....
11. I have a f150 std cab and im about to do a blow threw .. i only have room top to bottom for 12's but if i ever wanted to go bigger i have a idea how i could make it work. I just have not seen many people or any one ever build a box like this. Now t-lines work off of 1/4 wave and a 6th order is like a ported box with ports on both sides of the sub.. what would happin if i built a box and made it were there was port on the front and back of the sub like a 6th order but the ports were all 1/4 wave like a t-line just front and back.... the box would be huge because of the simple fact that each port would be around 9 feet long lol but hey i got a long bed truck so it dont matter. Im not saying i will do this but i just wanted to know if any one has built something like this and if yes how did it sound.
12. im running one fi 12" q on 2000 rms with 2/3 the bp option soundstream trx2000 at 1 ohm so i think you would be fine with the bl's unless you want to get something other then that
13. makin the ports outa wood or pvc ?
14. mike thats lazyness lol
