  5. Hey I have a question.. Where should I mount my fuses for my amps. I know they usually go under the hood but I wasnt sure if they should go after my extra batteries.. Thanks in advance

  11. I originally started dueing this after I read it on www.*****.com in one of his build logs... I never crimp any of my connections anymore just solder, What I due is put the ring terminal on the 0/1 guage wire, I then heat up the top of the ring terminal (top of hole were bolt goes through) I usually let it heat up about 3 or 4 minutes. I then take my solder and push it down on top of the wire slowly (after a few minutes of heating up terminal with torch it makes the copper strands hot enough) The solder then is basically sucked into the wire and it will make a very solid connection in the end, alot stronger than crimping (also it looks a hell of alot better) I will try to find meades log on it and due some link for ya
  12. Due the ssa icons take alot of box space? The big reason I was thinking the w6's for him was because the due require very little space in a sealed box...
  13. Any one think 2 jl audio w6's dual 4 ohm in sealed box wit a good 1000.1 amp would sound alrite for his rock music

  16. I always go as big as possible and then block it if I need to, it alwas leaves your options open, worst thing is to have to pull old and then re run it in the future

  20. Damn sexy I cant wait to get the finished plan I bought about 50 foot of 2" dowels today. have about 5 and half sheets of 3/4 mdf and also alot of fiber glass resin and wood glue.
  21. wonderful.. I like how it sounds.. Also due you think I have "to much amp" some one was telling me to get dual 1 ohm and put 1 of my amps on both.. I have no problem ordering a new set of btls, and just keep these for my other ride.. just want your honest opinion on it
  22. 45 inches between wheel well and I would say right wheel well is 8 wide.. Also I love how you decided the set up I think that will work great
  23. I got a few spare rockford t40001bd amps sittin around the are brand new remans.. I hooked up for testing only to make sure they work right
  24. Also I would like to state that dude basically only listens to rock n roll, And also wat would be some good highs for the car
