the first attempt to splice into the rear output for the use of a high input at the amp failed. the wire was slightly too small for the in-line splice.... bought a converter and will re-do the splices tomorrow..... used the mp3 player for some brief testing and it went well, the current prefab, sealed enclosure leaves room for improvment..... i think once the install is complete , she will be very happy with it for a while.. chop

are you going to try to compete with this set-up in the up-coming show? i know you are looking at the batteries...... i was thinking about the flex.....perhaps we need to rig up some temporary fixes for holding that flex down..... gotta get that into the mic! i wish i was on the progress side, you are feeding me inspiration for sure! keep up the good work. chop

yeah the part with Kat Williams, also the first part of the IAK Oldskool, i like this sort of approach..... definetly like hearing IAK in there, perhaps several times within the finished song.... this was not too fast pace for me, however it might of slowed down after :36 quite a bit, rather it stay a little more upbeat through out. i bet i have done demo's of your different styles a dozen times in the past 2 days, showing the family and some friends all of this. i am very excited about it. I can se you are very capable, it is just a mtter of me catching up to speed, in order to know what terminology to use, lol...... i see the reerance to old school popping up, that is some cool stuff, i would imagine the other half of my crew, who has not been able to respond yet, would want a newer approach. lol. most of thier music is ganster, street.....not sure what to call it, lol we, really appreciate this! chop

i have no experiance in useing a port plug... i would not even begin to know what to exspect from this partial plug design.... will this plug be for the kerfed port? would the back side if the plug create a dead area, sorta like standing waves? would the plug have a kerfed shape as well? i am absolutley useless here, but tunned in as well. chop

the first part of Already Faded is on point with what i like...... what is the term used for this sort of style / song intro..... the building bass line in there is a must have too. the rest of the song is brillant, just alot faster than what i am looking for i am willing to bet that whatever you do create, it will be top notch.... i look forward to just a taste of what direction you will be going with this.... chop

hey fellas, i had a bid on some of our custoum t-shirts. the airbrusher said he would creat four unique IAK themes on four 3xl shirts, giving a 'feel' for what one we liked best... he said they would be full, complete quality.... this would cost $100, $25 each.... if there is four of you who would like to step up with the cash, pick a theme..... let me know whats up.... the decals..... they are looking like around 5-7 buck each....high end guess would be 3 decal each member, i would assume..... 3 x $5 x 15(members) = 225 bucks some members seem lost, this would bring the math down..... who would like some decals and how many? chop

sorry fellas, found some side work to do, then got sick, just a busy week for me, gots my schedule all screwed up.

he say's the sound is on point, the low end he was looking for, there is still some tweaking to be done, the output is really nice now, but we both believe there is still some more to be had. the box build is less than perfect, chuck was hoping for a show piece, and currently , this is not it. the box could use another several hours of prep work, repainted, and some additional lights installed..... the SA-8's are ftw. his new head unit is super nice as well.....

i have been secretly watching your build, attempting to at least learn the terms and approach to sq installs.... primarily just for the exsposure... when i am talking to someone about sq i often imitate my version of ///M5, lol, you guys humour me with the approach on this, i would assume if it went down in person i would just be like eating nachos ,cocking my head to the side, wondering when the hell we was going to turn the subs up, lol......you sq guys are at a whole other level.... thumbs up to your hard work and exstensive research... i would like to ultimetly get a nice head unit installed with some media options and ipod features, a little fun for the ride.... upgrade the factory speakers to a nicer after market, with a little power behind them.... and of coarse a better sub stage with a custom box installed. those BluesCarAudio products seem to be a win! chop

these Rockford Fosgate 12"s bring back some good memories.... scored them in a trade from DD9915D!!! , thank you sir....( now get back to building chucks box!!!) anyway, here is a few pics of them.... without rubber gasket... with the rubber gasket in place.... in their temporary home.... prefab, temp box, sealed, 1.25 cubes per sub..... gotta have one with them inverted, or it would just not be me...lol just fyi, there is a nice little help section on the RF site..... if ever needed....RF

okay, we need to provide a little bass to go with the fairly nice sounding factory system in the Ford Taurus... not invassive on the car, leaving as much factory as possible, also not taking alot of trunk space.... nothing fancy, just yet, better to come later down the road.... the car is a 2003 Ford Taurus. the subs are two 12" Rockford Fosgate rfd212's, (old school punch series) the sub amp is a Sonus 700.1 , a german made, class D amp.... and some 4 gauge power and ground wire will be ran... the first enclosure will be a 1.25 cube per sub , sealed prefab... okay, thats it for now, but, we all know, just adding some bass to your ride can be rewarding enough until funds come together..... we have a speacial shout out to TheHawk for the amp, thank you very much sir.... the box, subs, and wire came from dear ol' Dad..... i promise i will get you better soon. lol here are some pics of the great little amp thehawk sent her.... shipped in it's original box... complet with all packing , manuals, bass knob, and mounting hardware..... this amp is brand new, no flawes nice little cooling fan... gotta have a gut shot! lol
