No difference on subs or fronts. There are/have been some shitty D's that would make that statement wrong, but reputable ones aren't something you need to worry about.

I might measure any boat gain there is first as it would REALLY help in the enclosure design, but not sure how I can simulate the final install well enough to bother. Going to "load" the sub against the hull and the current one isn't. If I can just twist the box then fine, but otherwise not sure what to do. No frequency analyzer at the moment, so I'll be the guy with the $3k mic and a volt meter, ROFL.
