Before anyone recommends anything it'd be good to know what you don't like about what you currently have or what could be improved. Not sure. Thought about calling Aura's head designer to find out, but figured I should look on the internet first Those are the Mobile Reference drivers. They came out along with the originals but were tailored for automotive use. I remember auditioning a pair of these roughly 10-12 years ago, but could not justify spending $1K on a driver. IIRC, these were the first $1K retail driver in the automotive world. The specs are within uncertainty/repeatability of the NS drivers. Makes me want to buy a pair as I actually really like the way they look. Grill them most of the time with speaker fabric and then BAM take the grills off.

If you have 2 "identical" drivers in 2 "identical" boxes they will still have different t/s. Could be your box, but definitely I have never seen any two drivers measure perfectly consistently. The better drivers from better manufacturers are closer, the cheaper and more chinese ones are worse. Your first step in averaging these differences is to use a single box for both drivers. Next is to have them share a load. It isn't always a positive, but more often than not it is. The goal is to get them all to respond the same. This does mean that the weakest link is the one you are using, but having the stronger links do more work isn't usually a benefit.

Make sure no other variables change... My point was that you need to meter to determine if it did anything, but that the gains are nonsensical unless you are chasing readings on a meter.

No. You shouldn't use a DMM to tune the amps. To check that they are matched or to match them sure, but definitely not to tune.

Not really, smoother airflow = good Air does not flow through an enclosure, it's simply excited. Sorry for not saying... I meant outside the enclosure. If the enclosure has less flat parts i would imagine airflow into the front of the cabin is reached better? Again, there is no flow. Can it help? Maybe. Are you chasing tenths?

LOL I don't think we have anything here. Farm league hockey ftw? We have plenty of that. Hell a group of my high school friends started an IHL team shortly after high school and made it to the finals. They were disbanded and disqualified before the final games started though since they didn't pay their league entry fee's and couldn't. The gene pool was shortened to as 3 from my class and the one below went straight into the NHL.

And considering that is only our winning pro team this year I'll bandwagon. ROFL
