Dallas isn't the only U doing research with visible cloaking. I've been in quite a few labs where they've needed our help.

Anyone who is a fast car nut will feel the same after one short ride. Can you describe how it's different from a fast bike? I got the scooter as a supplement for a fast car, and it's a wild rush to be sure. I've never been on a "fast" sled, but I never got that wild rush like I do when pulling away from a stop on the bike. You are 2' off the ground and get to play when the weather isn't worth doing anything else. Cornering is much safer and faster as well. Imagine a road that is 8' wide with trees on both sides and you can drive as fast as you want on it, or at least as fast as your balls allow. Very similar to dirt bike and riding single track. Similar, but the stability is way higher and the feeling because of it is. Single track riding is fun, but not at all the same experience. Plus who doesn't like to cover 200mi in a day, visit 4 bars, and bang ditches and trees for hours? I can do 800 miles plus a couple dozen bars in a day in a car; does that count? Acceptable if you bang bitches while doing it. I thought that was a given; especially with all the drive through liquor stores here Did something happen? ESPN radio was talking about drive through liquor stores in Texas not an hour ago.
  3. Not to but it is WAY better to use a properly implemented 2 way than to overly compromise the set you have. Passive 3 ways are pretty restricted in getting them to sound good which is why you generically see me telling everyone to never do it. If you have to make too much of a compromise you are better off with a 2 way. Your other option is to make up for it with active crossovers and processing, but then it'd be silly to use those drivers.

HUGE difference between Net and Gross box size. Considering the wording of the question, I'd guess that is 5cuft gross in which there is no way in hell to make the 18 work.

    14.4 * .7 = 10,0000,000,0000,000 gigawatts baby
  8. Do you ever use the parking brake? *outside of when I have a trailer I NEVER do
  9. This one.. with the single 80A fuse recommendation? Its rated at 2000wrms PEAK. That 900wrms rating is most likely inflated too.. youll probably get around 800wrms if youre lucky I agree that the amp doesn't do anywhere near it's advertising. But how do you come to the conclusion that it does 800watts rms? Edit: I see how you calculated that. You did the amp fusing (80a) * 10 and got 800watts? Is this some trick you learned somewhere? I did 80Amps x 14.4volts x .7 for efficiency Perhaps before answering you should have multiplied 14.4 x 0.7 Sounds like a plan though. I'll release a 20w stereo amplifier and include a 200w fuse. By your math, when I offer it for a $200 you'll shit and buy a truckload.

Anyone who is a fast car nut will feel the same after one short ride. The three I've ridden have been fun as hell, but I still can't get past the cold weather. You didn't have the right clothes. No, you just don't understand how badly I detest cold weather. Where you live that isn't a choice to get out of. My comment was more you didn't have the clothes to keep you warm while riding. Hell my normal garb is such that under my jacket unless its below -10F I normally only wear a t-shirt. At -40F I need a second layer including long underwear and similar top under my bib/jacket but otherwise it just isn't cold at all.
  11. Boo Peak rating. You could claim a 2000w peak on a 50w amp. I'd run like hell from that thing and avoid buying subs from the guy selling it. If he's that clueless the likely hood of everything being in ok shape and worthwhile is about 0%.

Before kids one "summer" i had my boat in 80 different lakes. Obviously had a slightly less demanding job then lol. Unemployed roomate and make your own schedule didn't help that

I've been wishing for it for awhile. I can't wait to go snowboarding Are you going to go out at all this year? I doubt it, hard to get away from the kiddo's but maybe once ( You should. I go once a week No kids though. I used to do at least that in college. Hell when I was in high school me and my buddies were pretty much the only ones on the "mt" with snowboards.

Ha, looked for MN trails on Youtube and there isn't shit...but a couple geezers on old school machines putting along. Funny either way. They are riding on $500 machines at a speed of about half what we ride. Maybe even less although in tight corners you need to be careful.
