And it does suck having to trailer to ride. It is also more fun with more people. You do live in MN though

Anyone who is a fast car nut will feel the same after one short ride. Can you describe how it's different from a fast bike? I got the scooter as a supplement for a fast car, and it's a wild rush to be sure. I've never been on a "fast" sled, but I never got that wild rush like I do when pulling away from a stop on the bike. You are 2' off the ground and get to play when the weather isn't worth doing anything else. Cornering is much safer and faster as well. Imagine a road that is 8' wide with trees on both sides and you can drive as fast as you want on it, or at least as fast as your balls allow. Very similar to dirt bike and riding single track. Similar, but the stability is way higher and the feeling because of it is. Single track riding is fun, but not at all the same experience. Plus who doesn't like to cover 200mi in a day, visit 4 bars, and bang ditches and trees for hours?

I am a flashaholic..... What do you want to use the lights for and how much do you want to spend? I will point you in the direction of a better option, unless you want it for frying eggs specifically. Thanks Matt, we use head lamps. I was hoping somebody would ask why in a Haunted house why you would need such a flashlight? What is a good led flashlight lets say under $75? Why would you need such a flashlight in a haunt?

And DD ass rapes you on price to get there. I don't understand the rant here. If Fi is at fault and took 40 days its absurd, but we can't assume that yet. The whole time they've been a company I've NEVER heard a complaint like that before. There is most likely some reason, I am sure the person that has the 40 day rebuild didn't do the paperwork right, didn't send it in right, or a thousand other reasons for the delay. None of which pertain to Fi. Either way, personally I'd like to understand the situation before having a knee jerk reaction and drawing stupid conclusions. One other question. Would you rather pay $400 for a recone and have it done in 2 days or pay $50 and have it done in a week. And yes its rhetorical and no the actual numbers don't matter. If you draw the conclusion that the $400 company is a better one from that, then please the next time you need a recone call me personally and I'll send you a special quote.

    Sell the moto-bike and get a snow-to-bike
  8. Why not put something used and cheap in there and then when you sell the van install the Brav 3 ways in what you replace it with. The only reason I said to put the mid & tweet up high is that I was afraid you'd be separating all of the drivers and that would sound like ass. Passives aren't designed for that geometry in particular in a 3 way. If you have to separate them please keep the mid & tweet together. You keep complaining about the kicks, but sort of need to use them to effectively use that set. So many compromises to make them work basically compromises all of the benefits of a 3 way to begin with. Sort of like using an 18" sub in a 12" box because you have it. Not an effective way of producing bass, but there are people that do it.

If I am lost in the dark at least I can cook eggs and not starve, I will need to remember the eggs though. Or just bring some chickens. They'd be spooky in the haunt anyways. *clucks*

FUCK O chem Indeed. I actually took it at North Dakota State so I could avoid the hard profs at the school I was going to. Summer school ftw. Went from a class size of less than 10 where I went to school to over 150. Guess how often I went to that class. ROFL.

Ha, that is how I was with Chemistry. Get the orgo's out of the way and fuck it. I HATE memorization. Could be described in Quantum, depends on the curriculum. Normally its done before.
  19. Goals, space, power, budget all can define what you could run. Curious why you've decided on forward as well as why you thought what you thought before. You've now ranked your goals as Rap first, burp numbers second, and then the rest? That requires a rather different box than if the order were different. And there are other manu besides DD, SA, IA & DC

Ya it definitely can be confusing, especially since like every chemistry class ive taken the professor has said at one point in time "For reasons you will learn in future classes" but theres something about it i really enjoy ALL chemistry can be described completely in a single chapter of Physics. Determining the result of any interaction can be defined by it. Obviously it isn't the fastest way to the calculations though.

Plate definitely is not an emitter.
  23. ///M5 replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
Energy is conserved btw, always. Chemistry can make things confusing that don't need to be.
  24. ///M5 replied to mrray13's topic in Off Topic
what do you mean by internal conversion?
  25. Why would you think that? *yes the question is pertinent since it will define the real answer No, but that is because of your goals and equipment choice. And how does that apply to the drivers you've chosen to discuss in this thread? Interesting. So DD has the magic sauce that is great at burps and playing music? Wails the lows and plays hard rock? If you truly think so, I'd encourage you to expand your horizons and listen to some other drivers Sorry, you asked what I think so I told you. I wouldn't recommend that driver in that box for your application. Perhaps if you clarify the application though and what you will compromise that could change.
